I stare at this pale male closely, does he think I'm joking or something. I slowly start turning my attention back to my mother's grave.
"What you don't believe me? Think I'm mad or just plain delusional?"
I don't say anything and keep my gaze down. I'd really like to speak with my mother, but this boy is making it difficult with his lack of a better story to scare me.
"Come on blondie,don't ignore me. I just wanna have some fun. I mean as much fun as someone in a cemetery can have."
"Are you crazy?"
Why does this kid think I have time to joke around?
"Some say that but I think I'm perfectly sane. Mark tells me I have a screw loose but no I think I'm not crazy."
He smiles at me and I step back. He's definitely crazy. I'm not sure if I should take off and leave this mad man behind.
"Ah don't go blondie, I'm just playing with you."
I look back at him and see a smile on his face as he leans against a grave. I rub my arms as a shiver travels up my body. He sits on top of a box and pulls something from his pockets. He unwraps the lollipop and sticks it in his mouth.
"Want one? I stole it from some little boy, ah you should have seen his face when I told him I'm dead."
He threw his head back and began laughing, I'm getting freaked out again.
"Well do you want one or not?"
He asks me again and his expression is now threatening. I shake my head and stand still. He swings his legs back and forth as he sucked on the lollipop, his eyes studying me.
"I wonder what they taste like? I mean they're fun to suck on but how's the taste like?"
"What do you mean? It's in your mouth, you can taste it..."
He pulls the entire thing out of his mouth and stares at it. He brings out his tongue and runs it through the red surface. My eyes widen and he sees that. He smiles widely again before laughing loudly. Suddenly he stops and looks back at me, more like glares.
"I told you I'm dead didn't I? Well dead people don't taste now do they blondie?"
"No..."
I'm scared, time to leave. He just sitting there licking his lollipop and looking at me through his grey bangs. I slowly start back away when my phone starts to ring.
"Oh what's that?!"
"Wait no!"
He runs towards me and snatches the phone from my hands. He stares at it closely before pressing the green button. He presses the speaker phone on accident and jumped when my brother's voice came through.
"Jimin?"
"Woah it speaks! Hi!"
"Give me that."
I snatch the phone from his hands and he pouts but leaves me alone. I take the phone off speaker and hold it to my ear.
"Kookie, I'm going home now."
"Don't go blondie! Whose going to entertain me then?"
I sigh and hang up the phone, I put it back into my pocket and look back at him.
"Listen crazy I have to go. This has been a weird encounter and I hope to never repeat it."
I say goodbye to my mom and turn around to leave.
"Okay! See you soon then? Bye blondie!"
