Harry looked out onto the lively street that was Diagon Alley, with Hermione and Hagrid by his side. Mrs Weasley had previously made the transportation arrangements and had agreed to let Harry and Hermione go alone as long as they had their half-giant friend with them. Harry, Hermione and Hagrid walked through the buzzing street that was teeming with life. Hermione dragged Harry and Hagrid to the wizarding book shop, Flourish and Blotts to get the year's worth of school books and extra material. The gang of three walked up to the door of the fantastic bookshop.
"Awrigh' then" Hagrid huffed "I'll jus' wait ou' here for yeh. Securi'y Detail an' all tha'"
Hermione smiled in appreciation "Thanks Hagrid" she said as Harry noticed her happy smile. Hermione and Harry walked into the bookshop and looked around at the shelves and shelves full of books of every colour imaginable. Harry looked around and saw some frightened thirteen year olds attempting to control their copy of "Monster Book of Monsters" which was growling and thrashing around. Harry even saw a small thirteen year old diving onto the floor of the shop to try and prevent his copy from escaping. Hermione, however was busy grabbing books from almost every shelf
"The books in the library, as good as they are, are limited" Hermione said quickly as she grabbed a black covered book "'Dangers of the Dark Arts Volume 1 of 7'" she read the cover aloud. About twenty minutes later, Harry and Hermione walked out of Flourish and Blotts, carrying bags upon bags of books, which Hagrid took upon their return to him. Hermione then wanted to go to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions because she insisted that she needed new robes for school. Harry eventually gave in and they walked into the robe shop, Hagrid waiting outside, holding their bags of books. Upon entering, Harry and Hermione spotted Madam Malkin already tending to a familiar blond haired boy
"Malfoy..." Harry almost-growled under his breath. Hermione also looked at Draco Malfoy with hate and loathing in her eyes for it was Draco's father that had murdered Ron.
Draco Malfoy spun around to see Harry and Hermione standing before him. He was about to sneer but he did not have time for Harry had pinned him against a wall with his wand pointing at Draco's neck.
"Harry!" Hermione gasped, hand to her mouth
Harry looked at Malfoy with pure hatred in his eyes "GIMME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T JUST END YOU, HERE IN THIS SHOP!!!!" Harry shouted to Malfoy.
Malfoy had seen Potter mad before, but not like this. Draco was actually afraid...
Madam Malkin ran up and pulled Harry off of Draco
"I'll be having none of this in my shop" she said.
Suddenly, Draco's mother, Narcissa Malfoy, walked into the shop. She then saw the surprised Hermione, the angered Harry, the bewildered Madam Malkin and the quivering Draco.
"What happened here?!" She asked.
"Nothing" Draco spat. "Let's go mother, I never liked these robes anyway" Draco then proceeded to try and take the robes off but his left sleeve was caught in his belt.
"Oh, dear. Let me help you with that" Madam Malkin said as she reached for Draco's left arm. Draco then quickly jumped back and pulled his arm away, causing the caught sleeve of his robe to rip in two, separating itself from the belt
"I can take care of myself, thanks" Draco sneered to Madam Malkin. Harry then glanced at Draco's left arm for a moment. Draco then successfully pulled his robes off. He threw them on the floor and stormed out of the shop
"Let's go, mother" he said to Narcissa who followed him out. Harry then took Hermione's hand and they walked out of the shop, wanting to get out of there because of what had just happened.
"How about we go to Fred and George's shop?" Harry suggested to Hermione, who nodded slowly in agreement. When Harry and Hermione walked out of the shop where Hagrid was waiting for them, a big smile on his face
"Saw the Malfoys" he said "Summat interestin' happen?"
