Chapter 6

The next morning as Sasha and her husband were the first to arrive around 11 am, and were more than glad to see Dr.Louis and Kendrick with Sonia who was sitted up with her hair in a messy bun, she was wearing a baggy t.shirt which was white and having some pictures of cartoons on the front, she was looking fresh and clean except for the red bruises on her face which weren't much and that of her laps, legs, arm and stomach, she was still on drip thou but was looking happy well, as Dr.Louis gently feeds her with chips and chicken and in the process cracking jokes while Kendrick was by her side Laughing when some funny things happens between Dr.Louis and Sonia, when her parents came in with loads of cooked food, Kendrick stood up as Sasha ran up to her daughter and hugged her tightly, "um m..um can't breath, too tight" said Sonia rolling her eyes, "oh sorry" said Sasha quickly realising sonia and wiping away tears from her eyes, "dad" called Sasha opening her hand towards het father who hugged her and then let go, "am glad you are ok" said B.M Smart,Sonia just nodded, soon the room was filled up with Alisha, Aliya, Shila, Lexi, Larry, Uncle. Garry, uncle brown and grandpa scott while the rest were all resting in their various hotel rooms or mansions  like Sonia's dad demanded of them, almost an hour later Dr.George came in with Dr. Patricia right behind him, the two looked excited, "we just got a mail from Newyork telling us exactly what is wrong with her" said Dr.Patricia, "the Clements" asked Dr.Louis standing up to meet them, "yes, we send every symptoms her body displayed and what is the source of her sickness which we saw yesterday, and they send back full details of the sickness which occurs to 0.70% of the people in the world who happened to be victim of navel touching, and in her case as a result of that her large intestine has a hole in it which is called SEATESIS which needs to be operated on but unfortunatly we don't or more like we have never performed something like that, and for us to try is something of a risk we ain't ready to take thou we have the procedures here in the mail" said Dr.George waving some papers to them on his last sentence, all looked at him mouth agape, "so" inquired Lexi, "dummy she has to be flown to Newyork to be operated" said Shila rolling her eyes, with that B.M Smart had hard to make it be only Shila and Lexi including Sasha will be going and the rest had to go back to clear up what they had missed for this three months, he had to make them see reasons, "can Kendrick come with us" asked Sonia to Larry, Shila and Lexi's shock, "noo...i... "sure why not" said Dad interrupting Kendrick who was also shocked, " wow, you know we need someone from here, to watch the procdeure and someone with Kay's brain is needed" said Dr.Louis fondly at Kendrick and brushing his hair with his hand, "so it's set i will arrange for one of my planes" said B.M Smart, "i prefer the German made, i like the interior best"said Sonia, "anything for my girl" said B.M Smart, "and my men will be at the airport waiting for you coz my Newyork mansion will be your abode" said Granpa Scott, "wow that mansion is heaven on earth, in fact one of the top three magnificent ones i have visited" said Aladama nodding, "have you ever being there" asked B.M Smart, "last year for a meeting with contractors around the world which he hosted, "oh" lamented B..M Smart, and for the rest of the day they chattered happily even thou surprisingly Sonia had an attack but soon got on well, and the next night the family in that country with them were there to bid them farewell at the run way including the doctors, while Sonia was on a wheel chair when Larry came up to her knowing she won't tefuse to speak with him in front of the rest he squatted infront of  her thou no one was paying attention to them since they were all talking, "hey" he said, but she looked away, "i hope you recover soon" he said with a sigh, "you never wished for me not to get well so that i will get out of your way with lilly" she Asked coldly, he looked at her shocked, "i will never wish for that not even for my enemy" he said, "am not your enemy but your doll which you think you can play with all the time, tell me Larry when were you planning to dump me,  after luring me into giving you my virginity or what" she asked looking coldly at him, "i will never dump you, you are the only girl i love Sonia please", "then if this is the type of love you are good at am afraid am not ready for it and will never be" she said, "please don't do this" he said almost intears, "i think you should have this, it no longer suits me" she said removing a pure gold chain with a heart decortion from her wrist and forwarded it to him, "why are you doing this, is this an opportunity for you to go for that doctor" asked standing up whitout collecting the chain, "he doesn't know me, but he always makes me happy and takes care of me and knows when am in worries and never jokes with my emotion and to top it all he is single" she said looking at him her eyes red already, "you wanna go for him, is that why you wanted him to follow you" asked Larry in tears and angry, "it's a pity for more than a year you dated me and you still don't know my taste or what am capable of doing, Kendrick is the brother i never had, making him my lover is like me loosing a brother and i can't date a doctor, not my taste" she said with tearfull smile and then said "am gonna have to wait for the right guy for me and i hope the next time i won't be so blinded" with that she threw the chain at him and motioned to a guard of her dad to push her forward, "your son will be lucky to have such a cautious father Mr.louis" said Shila forwarding a hand to Mr. Louis, he in turn looked at the hand and gently took it nodding and some minutes later they were in one of her Dad's private plane, which was full of luxry, its interio was in maroon and gold colour, maroon pure leather seats, maroon curtains with golden drapings, glass tables with golden decorations, maroon persian carpets having golden decorations, everything inside was worth a fortune, "this is super" exclaimed Lexi, "i have never seen a plane like this" said Shila walking round looking excited, "i love this plane" said Sasha, "it's something" said Kendrick, then they all sat down with Sasha near the window leaning on golden wall between them an the pilots, with Shila by her side both comfortable chair leaning on the we wall but the aisle dividing them, Lexi and Kendrick were facing them with Lexi facing Shila and Kendrick facing sonia, thou there is a huge space between them and a center table on each side, then comfortable eight sitter sofa on each side between them, that's where Sasha was seated with six guards in black as usual oppsite her, soon the plane took of too newyork, "have you ever being to newyork" asked Lexi looking at Kendrick, "noo" he replied looking through the window, Sonia who was with an oxygen mask on her face and was supporting it with her left hand just smiled, "Sonia's last visit was since she was three" said Lexi, "and me, never" said Shila, "me too" said Lexi, "you know it just downed on me, how on earth i skipped newyork in all my travels" said Sonia removing the mask, "thats it is because you always fly to places you know you will race your life away, now place that thing back" said mum scrolling her phone , Sonia shook her head and placed it back, while the rest chuckle, after some hours they landed in newyork and on landing Sonia had another attack, Kendrick having the items needed to calm of any attack quickly set to work and for twenty minutes was on her still in the plane, then she became normal but weak so Kendrick carried her in his hands and with that they all alighted from the plane and entered one out of the three SUVs' on the runway waiting for them, Shila, lexi and sasha were at the extreme back while kendrick and Sonia were in the middle and a guard by the driver's side both in black suit, it took them thirty minutes to arrive at the premises of the mansion, on entering through the main door three giant framed picture was staring at them, the frame on the right was a picture of a woman in her early twenties wearing a long navy blue  straight gown which was long sleeved and has a high neck with black tummy belt and a black stoned chocker, her black curly hair was in a bun with some locks by the side of the hair and she was standing straight, smiling and her right hand up which shows she was waving when the picture was taken, then the left frame was a picture of another girl in her teenage age, wearing a short sleeve sky blue long gown which was short sleeved and has a V neck with slits on the left side of the gown, her black stretched hair was layered perfectly with silver earings and bangles, with a smile on her face she was also standing and was showing an award with both hands, then the picture in the middle was that of another girl in her teenage age wearing a fading purple polyester straight knee lengt gown which was high neck nd sleeveless with a white slik blazer on and the buttons open, with a white heeled shoe too, her hair was let wavy and loose, "wait these three l..ook familiar" said Shila, "are you kidding me" asked Sonia rolling her eyes, "that's my mother Anna on the right, me on the left and Sonia in the middle" said Sasha, "ofcoz i recognized you and Sonia, but Grandma Annie looks alot like you" said Shila, "more like they look alot like her" said Kendrick, "whatever" lamented Shila, "you can now tell why am grandpa's favourite" said Sonia, "hello, me before you" said Sasha rolling her eyes, "mum, give it up, it's now me" said Sonia turning herself on the wheelchair to face her mum, "hell no that's not true, it's still me, that's why we are in this mansion" said Sasha adamantly, "no am the one sick, and for my comfort we are here, so give it up mum, you are so outdated am the raining on" said Sonia teasingly as the rest laughed, Sasha just shook her head and said "am taking this personal", soon they all settled down and in their variouse choosen rooms.
