"What is your problem Larry" asked Sonia sounding frustrated, that was a month after she resumed and the weather is a bit cold, everything is going normally, but still Pink isn't around, she just parked her white Hummer jeep in front of Tara's place on a Saturday evening, on coming out she met up with Larry who for the past weeks has being pleading with her, today Tara was celebrating her birthday in form of a tea party, Sonia was wearing a white neat fur coat like top,which was straight and has a slit on one side, long sleeved, waist lenght, turtle neck, and long peach brown skinny pants, hair loose and wavy, "i want you to hear my pleads" he said, "of cause i have being hearing them, i don't have invisible ear muffs for Godsake" she said waving a hand, "then accept them, please, Sonia give me another chance",
  "Okey i have given you another chance to talk to me, or even come to my house with your guys stop this and concentrate ob your projects and stuff, it's your last semester in Pensive, so concentrate on that not me" she said and walked in, Minutes later two of Pink's friends Angie and Simon came in hurriedly searched for Sonia and then walked to her, "Sonia we need to talk to you" said Angie, "what" asked Sonia taken aback, just when Stefan, Larry, Shaun, Tammy, Anya, Anita, Lilac, Tara, Kelly and Austin came around, "please we come in peace" said Simon, "you better cause you are out numbered" said Tara, "it's Pink" said Angie, "oh" said Sonia dryly folding her hands, "look she is in a mess, i don't or we don't know what she got herself into but she is really in deep shit" said Simon, "and how is that suppose to be my problem" she asked dropping her hands, "she said we should give you this" said Angie forwarding a piece of red card, Sonia was shocked as she check out the small maroon card "WHERE DID YOU GET THIS" she asked her eyes now red as she looked up, stressing every word and her voice a bit shaky, "two masked men ambushed us yesterday night, and said our friend's life is in danger we better submit this to you" said Simone, "i have to go" she said turning to go, "Sonia what is it" asked Austin, "you won't understand" she said and turned to go, "At least explain" said Larry holding her back, "you won't fucking understand" she yelled then sighed and quietly said, "and neither do i, but i just have to be there", "at least let some of us come with you" said Anya, "no no just call the my dad if i don't return in three hours, he will know what to do", "we can't just hang around for three hours waiting for your return blindly, i cant" said Larry "Larry is right" said Austin, "lets go with you" said Shaun, "i don't want this to concern any of my friends, just like it did with Pink" she yelled, "oh don't tell me you are absconding my tea party cause of Pink and you trying to play the pure heart soft forgiver" said Tara angrily, "this is the matter of Life and death, even if i ignore this now it will still come back to me and oh Pink was my friend" yelled Sonia, "please Sonia let me, Austin, Anya and Stefan come with you" said Larry, "fine" she said after some minutes hesitation and they were soon in her hummer, she was driving Larry by her side, the rest at the back, they reached the address on the card, parked and came out, "this way i think" said Sonia and they followed her in to the ware house, "drop all your weapons" said a deep voice echoing, "we are not rogues, we are just students" shouted Sonia, "okey" said the voice and then they heard Pink's muffled sound and seems to be struggling, "over here" said the same voice and they all looked up and saw a heavy builded man with a black vest and a gold chain and his left hand was holding Pink by the neck and her mouth was muffled, her hands were tied at her back, she was in a pink lazy Sunday top which was so dirty and her bare legs were shoe less her pink blonde hair so dirty and rough, her face were stained black due to mascara colliding with tears, "who are you" asked Sonia folding her hands, just when 5 heavily built men with rods appeared surrounding them, "the question is who i was before you" said the man, "what do you want" asked Larry looking wearily at the guys surrounding them, "exchange, drop the B. M Smart's so called heir and go with this" said the voice, "wait you thought we will just hand over Sonia and go with Pink, no thank you, guys lets go" said Austin and turned to the door but one of the guys blocked him, "you knew i will come didn't you" asked Sonia, "yeah cause Benjamin's daughter always the caring type" he said mocking a small girl's voice, "you got the wrong girl to exchange for Sonia" said Anya, "yeah the wrong one" said Stefan nodding, "why, cause she hated you, she is always envious of you, tackling abusing you, and oh slept with your boyfrien, yes she did all that cause i paid her to the it" he said laughing, "what" they chorused, "she is a rich bitch why will she need your money" asked Sonia, "no she isn't rich, she is just an orphan bitch i picked up, sponsored and pay her to make your life a living hell, but she couldn't the stupid ungrateful girl, couldn't" he yelled slapping her, "even the last attempt was to make you get injured in the race but she couldn't, or will I say they couldn't" he said, "what do you mean they" asked Austin, "oh they were two in the car, she can't drive that well, or will i say she stopped him, and was yelling 'no she just save our ass from those four cars', and she knocked him unconscious" he said knocking her head and she gave a muffled sound, "oh then you did not succed, sorry" said Anya, "yeah but now ama finish what i started" he said, "what is your problem with me" asked Sonia, "a huge one" he said and shouted "cease them", and he turned to go pulling Pink with him, surprisnly they all decided to put on a fight, Anya bent low avoiding a hit from a rod, and in turn hit his hand with her foot making the rod fall down, and they continued fighting, Austin was sort of fighting and playing hide and seek, Stefan was dodging hits from one of the guys rod and in the process moving, Larry was fighting too, one of the man aimed a hit at Sonia with the rod but she quickly grabbed the end of the rod with two hands and with her strenght pushed it back and made the other end hit him forcefully on the chest and then she hit him on the face with the heel of her booth making him fall down unconscious, and she quickly ran towards the stairs to meet the guy up and save Pink, on climbing the stairs, reaching the top two guys surrounded her unarmed, but looking strong, one made to punch but she dodged and grabbed his hand and twisted it, and it broke cause of the cracking sound and the cru he let out, just when the other one aimed a kick at her but she dodged, and quickly hit him in the gonad, and hit his face with her elbow, she then went on and followed the direction of Pink's muffled sound, "give it up looser" she said appearing on the roof top, "very good, you came to join us" he saif throwing Pink down, "face me and let her go" she said folding her hands, "no you are too fragile" he said with a Smirk, "try me biggy" she said, "the name is Romero" he yelled and charged at her, " by the time am through with you Benjamin won't recognize you" he said aiming a punch at her, but she quickly bend low and him in the stomache with her booths, they fighted for about five minutes, and both were getting tired, Sonia was now having a bleeding nose and mouth, he was having cuts on his face due to her heels kicked, Sonia hit him twice in the Stomach and then sauma sault hit him on the face, and he dropped to the ground, she then hurriedly went to untie Pink, first she unmuffled her and "am so Sorry" she said in between cries as Sonia was un doing the rope from Pinks Hand, "no" yelled Larry and on turning two things happened at the same time, Romero was aiming a gun at Sonia, he shot it and Larry took the bullet in his chest, "nooooo"  yelled Sonia and she ran to Larry's aid who was now on the ground bleeding from the bullet wound and his mouth, his eyes close but he was breathing faintly, she placed halve his body on her laps and hold him tight screaming and crying saying "baby please, Larry stay with me, please, noooooo" she yelled, all this while Romero was trying to shoot her but there is no bullet, when suddenly he let out a scream and fell to the ground, behind him was Pink with a dagger just when they heard the siren of the police and probably ambulance, Sonia was still cuddled up with Larry's body, crying, just when the rest came up and the forces arrived and surprisnly her dad and her mother was with them, "let go of him baby, an ambulance is here" said Sasha, "leave us alone, they shot him, he is bleeding" she yelled crying, "Miss you have to let go of him now, we will attend to him" said one of the female nurses trying to gently remove Sonia's hands from Larry's body, "no don't touch me" she yelled crying, "he took the bullet for me ,the guy shot him,he took the bullet for me,for me" she cried, after two more attempts to talk her out of letting him go, they had to force her off the body, "noooo noooo" she cried on clutching her dad as she hugs her.
   In the hospital Larry was in a critical condition as the doctors operate on him to remove the bullet, they were in there for about four hours and now it is 2 am,  Sonia, her dad, her mum, Pink, Stefan, Anya, Austin, already lots of their school mates were outside the hospital with flash lights, Sonia was seated on a chair with her knees to her face and her hands round her legs, her coat was stained with blood, and now on her nose and fore head were white plasters, they were all waiting anxiously, "Dad who is Romero" asked Sonia all of a sudden, "dear please let's not talk about this now" he said, "when then, incase you haven't noticed i escaped dead by some inch, Larry is in there critical, my friends here were in danger" she said it in anger, "it doesn't matter he is dead" said Sasha, "i demand an answer, who the hell is he" she said almost yelling, "fine, he was our foster son" said Sasha after a sigh, "yeah, we disowned him some days after your birth" said her dad, "how could you be so cruel, i mean yeah i know the story of how you had me after you have given upnon having a child, i never knew you adopted a son and then sent him out after you had your own" she said, "no we loved him, but ever since he found out that your mum was pregnant with you, he decided making plans of getting rid of you, he was 18 at that time, he didn't succeeded, he planned for your kidnap days after your birth but was caught and we had to let him go, and on your sixteen birthday, the card you saw me reading, the maroon card was from him, and i know what it means, that he is around you, watching you" said her dad, "he wanted me to inflict pain on you, but i never do it, i was always going a different way, or will i say doing it in another way, even when i slept with Lexi's boyfriend i made sure you all knew,  i made it leak out cause he was working for him, and at that time he was been so close to you, Romero killed him some months back cause of some issues,even during the race week i sent Lilith to warn you, it was a false accusation" said Pink tearfully, just when the doctors came out,  and they all walked up to the doctors, "it was successful, thou the bullet grazed his right lung and he lost a lot of blood but he will be okey, he is conscious, and  we don't want to anesthetize him again to avoid complications, and we don't want him to be disturbed, so only one person will be allowed in" said one of the doctor, "I will" said Sasha, "no it has to be Sonia" said Stefan,  "the boy is right" said B. M, Sonia sighed and was lead in by the nurse, who immediately went out, his cheat was bandaged, and a plaster on his forehead, she hesitated a bit just when he weakly forward a hand to her, she then went forward took it and sat down by his side, "am glad, it wasn't you" he said with difficulty, tears came up to her eyes, "why" she asked, "i love you" he said, "yeah show me some other way not take a bullet for me, for Godsake you nearly die" she said in cries, "i survived" he said, "yeah and you are still in pain" she said looking away, "am drowsy" he said, "ge.. T get some sleep" she said, "will you be here when i wake up" he asked, if.. If you want" she said as tears ran down her cheeks, "i need" he said and he drifted back to sleep. "Is it true, he took a bullet for you" asked a student as Sonia and the rest came out, "it's all Pink's fault" said another student, "i hate you Pink" shouted another student, but Anya was quick in pulling away Pink from their fury.
