Chapter 6 Another Year of School

Finally, we were Juniors. This year is going to fly by so fast, but that is a good thing. I need high school to end.

"I'm telling you, we would do the craziest shit and not give a rats ass!" I started laughing thinking about our freshman years. Baylor sat in the drivers side and I sat on the passengers side. Both of us were ready for the first day of school.

"Alright we were, but the thing is...We still kinda are." He states while turning the radio on. "Like who would just randomly roll down their window and crank up their radio and just start singing horribly without being a bit Embarrassed."

We both look at each other and grin. At the same time our windows roll down and Baylor cranks up the radio. It is one of my Favorite songs, Story Of My Life by One Direction.

We both start screaming the lyrics, getting a lot off looks from people walking. I couldn't help but laugh too. As we pull into the schools parking lot we continue to sing. Everyone laughs and gives us stairs. The thing is, this was normal. Baylor and I both being idiots is so normal.

The song ends and I turn the radio down. Both of us have a big smile on our face.

We get out of Baylor's truck and of course Cole is waiting for us like always.

"Baylor! Izzy! I haven't seen you guys in like 12 hours." He shouts making me giggle. Cole comes up to me and gives me a hug. I love his hugs.

"Where's John Stephen?" Baylor asks looking around in the Parking lot. Usually John Stephen is here waiting for us, but not today I guess.

"He's getting us Starbucks." Cole answers. He still has his arm around me, which I don't mind. But I see Baylors jaw tense up. Why has he been acting like this lately? I brush it off as I see John Stephen coming in the corner of my eye. I smile because I can just feel the nice hot coffee running down my throat.

"MY COFFEE!" I scream and run over by John Stephen. He chuckles handing me it. Carefully taking it, right away I take a sip not even thinking of it being burning hot.

Once It hits the roof of my mouth I instantly spit it out.

Of course with my luck It happens to be all over Baylor. He lets out a girlish scream at first which makes us all laugh.

" Where did that come from?" Cole asks. Baylor just blushes, holding his shirt off his body.

"Shut up it was hot." Baylor's eyes meet mine. Oh shit.

Trying so hard not to laugh, I hold a tight grin on my face. Baylor doesn't look too happy, but he comes over to me and takes the coffee from my hands. Okay? I gave him a weird look as he hands it to Cole.

"Dude I still want that." I say, but seconds later I'm swooped off my feet by coffee boy.

"Baylor!" I screech. He doesn't say anything back, but walks towards the school. "What are you doing?!" I ask my dramatically.

Everyone is looking at us. This is completely normal. Everything we do is completely normal. But sometimes, well a lot actually, people walk up to us and ask if we are dating or tell us how cute of a couple we are. Sometimes when we are in public, a lot people say they wish they had a relationship like we did.

But honestly I don't see Baylor that way.

I get so confused sometimes though. Baylor would never like me, thats why I gave up years ago. We will always be strictly friends and that's a Pinky Promise. We pinky Promised that we would be friends forever and till eternity.
