Chapter 14 Kings and Queens?

Today is Thursday. The day the King and Queen voting will be announced. I would love to be queen, but the only thing is, who would the king be?

Blake and I talked last night. He told me how she was trying to get all over him and how she was flirting. I didn't believe him at first because I wasn't in the mood for bullshit. Then he actually took my hand and told me how much he liked me. He told me he has had a crush on me since last year and has been too afraid to tell me until now. He also told me that he doesn't want Brook to come between us since she's a skanky whore. My heart was lifted and my stomach exploded with butterflies. And then he unexpectedly kissed me. Not on the cheek, but the lips. Blake fucking Mason Kisses me!

I can still feel his lips on mine from last night. They were soft and plump and the kiss was warm and gentle. Even though it was nice and sweet my mind went crazy, as well as my stomach. I haven't felt like this in a long time.

He's so perfect. Bless him.

After we kissed he asked me on a date And the date is tonight. The only problem is, Baylor doesn't know. And I'm not planning on telling him. I mean, I will about the date, but about the kiss? No, I'm just gonna keep that to myself. I really don't need to be arguing with Baylor about this one.

The bell rings bringing me out of my trance. Picking up my things I walk out of the room without Baylor. I figure we will meet up soon in the gym. In about 5 minutes we are having a assembly for the crowning and I'm pumped. Yes, I did just say pumped.

Shoving my books in my locker I feel a arm snake around my waist.

"Hey beautiful. " I smile knowing it's Blake.

"Hey cutie." I say turning around. His big brown eyes filling into my green ones.

"So are you gonna sit by me?" He asks taking my hand. Gosh, they are so soft. This boy has no flaws! I nod shuting my locker. Of course I want to sit by him.

"Yeah, but is it okay If I sit by Baylor too?" I always sat by Baylor at these things... Plus Blake and him could use some bonding time.

Why am I even asking?

"Of course, we are all friends here." Blake sweetly says which makes my stomach tingle. I give him a smile. I'm so happy that they are getting along. "Speaking of Baylor, here he comes." Blake looks in the distance, making me turn around. I see Baylor smiling at me and then Blake.

Great! This is going better then I thought.

"Hey guys," Baylor greets, walking with us to the gym.

"Hey," I giggle. Don't ask me why, but I'm hyper. I can do 50 jumping jacks right now if anyone asked me to.

"Baylor." Blake and him pat each others back.

"Blake." Baylor says back.

I swear this is wonderful.

What Izzy doesn't know is, Blake and I agreed to being nice to each other. Well, I guess you can say it's an act. Only because of Izzy. We still hate each other, but we are only faking on us being friends. Like honestly we are faking so hard core. If Izzy found out, she would be devastated.

But we are doing really good. I really hope he dies though.

I also told him if he does anything to Izzy, he would be dead, Gone, no more Blake, Bah Bye Blake Mason. Because if he does do anything, Izzy will be crushed and I will be pissed. Nobody, I mean nobody hurts my girl.

As we got to the bleaches, most of us were already in here so the student council started to speak.

"We like to announce the King and Queen of this year Homecoming. Once we call your name will you please join us down here." I can't help but chuckle at Maddy down there. Yes, she's the president.

She's just so awkward which makes it hilarious.

All of us watch as she picks up the envelop. I doubt it that I'll be king. It'll probably be Blake.

Maddy starts to open it. She is struggling a little with the microphone in her had which everyone sees and Most of us start laughing. Others tell us to shush and of course the teachers give us the evil eye. After what seemed like 10 minutes, the blonde Haired Maddy gets the paper out. Smirking she opened her mouth about to say it.

All of us guys are on the edge of our seats waiting for our name name to be called. And let me just say, it's not mine.

"Blake Mason." Everyone starts cheering. Even I do. Well I have to because of the act. I watch as Izzy leans over and hugs him. I try to hide my frown when she looks.

Blake walks past me and grins. To put on a better show for Izzy I stand up and Bro hug him. "Go along with it." I whisper to him and then smile at Izzy. I swear her smiling is wider than ever. I really do feel bad for lying to her, but we had too.

All of our eyes are on Blake as walks down there. Giving him a slash that reads 'King' everyone starts yelping again. Izzy looks at me and smiles. "I wonder who's gonna be queen!" She screeches excitedly. I already have an Idea of who its gonna be.

"Now for queen." Maddy smiles grabbing the other envelope. All of us groan.

"Not another one!" A guy shouts, receiving laughs. Even from Maddy. This time she opens it quicker and pulls out the piece of paper. I watch as Blake looks over her shoulder and grins.

Maddy has a huge smile on her face. "And your Queen is, Isebelle O'Conner! "

Izzy's eyes practically bulge out of her head. Her arm suddenly comes flying back. Before I know it her hand is hitting me in the nuts. My eyes go wide just like hers. Oh shit this hurts.

"Oh my god, Baylor I'm sorry." I can tell she is trying to keep In her giggles.

"No it's fine. I will hug you later. Now go down there." I grunt. She kisses me on the cheek while passing me. The smile on her face tells it all.

I watch Izzy Running down the steps and everyone is cheering louder than loud. Once she gets down there she give Maddy a huge hug and takes her slash. Seeing her smile, makes me happy.

"Go Izzy!" I shout cheering along.

She scoots over by Blake and they hug. Again, owe.

"Alright everyone calm down! We are doing something new this year! " Maddy shouts over the loud crowed. All of us shut up. "Ok, this year we gonna have two Kings and Two Queens. Well, that came to be because the votes were so dang close." Maddy chuckles and this time grabs a piece of paper.

"Ok, The Next king will be, Mr. Baylor Barnes! " Maddy Screeches. Wait what? My face lights up as I feel my feet moving below me to receive my slash. All I can see is Izzy's smile.

Once I get down there the crowd is wild up and is cheering very loudly. As I receive my Slash, I give Maddy a Hug and go stand next to my beautiful best friend.

"Oh my god!" She yells throwing her arms around my neck and squeezing. I hug her back and chuckle.

"I know, I can't believe it either. " As we are standing the whole high school is looking at us and that is the moment of when Maddy is calling my queen.

And let me say. It's not who I was expecting.

"Brook Williams. "
