Justin’s POV:

“Mr. Bieber?” My assistant, Ms. Miller said snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Yes?” I asked raising a brow.

“Have you hired anyone yet?” She asked taking a seat across from me.

“No, not yet.” I sighed.

Right now I was looking for another assistant because Ms. Miller was planning on going back to Puerto Rico to visit family for a few weeks.

I allowed her to take that many weeks off, because I understand that she probably misses her family like crazy, and plus she deserved the vacation—she works her butt off.

“Sir, not to push you or anything, but I do leave tomorrow.” She chuckled.

“I know, I know. But none of the people who came in had good work ethnics. When I saw their resumes none had a ‘great experience’.” I huffed.

“Don’t stress yourself out Mr. Bieber. You’ll find someone. Remember its only 11 am.” Ms. Miller said then got up and walked out my office.

I ran my hands through my hair, like I always do when I’m stressed out. Another thing I do when I’m stressed is talk to Selena, which I decided to call her.

“Hello?” She said.

“Hi baby. What you doing?” I asked smiling through the phone.

“Just shopping for our new daughter.” She said. “So far she has gotten over 20 new outfits and I even picked out two new cribs.” Selena chuckled.

“But I thought we already picked out a crib?” I laughed.

“We did, but that one is for our house. We need one for my mom’s and your mom’s house whenever they want to baby sit, so I picked out two brand new cribs.”

“Oh, now I understand.” I said.

“So have you found a new assistant yet?” Selena asked.

“No not yet, and it’s stressing me out.” I sighed.

“Babe, don’t stress about it.” Selena said. “When you come home do you want me to give you a nice back massage?”

“I would love that babe.” I smiled through the phone.

“And you’ll have to give me a nice foot massage in return.” She said.

“I should have seen that coming.” I chuckled. “But you know I’ll do anything for my love.” I said.

“Mr. Bieber, you have another person here for the interview for my replacement.” Ms. Miller paged through.

“Okay, send them in.” I page back.

“Sel I have to go. Someone else is here for the interview.” I said into the phone.

“Okay baby. Good luck.” She said. “Love you.”

“Love you too.” I said and we both hung up.

A knock on the door came, and I yelled ‘come in’ to whoever was on the other side.

Little did I know, who was on the other side was a visit from my past that I never wanted to re-live.

Selena’s POV:

I had just put a pizza in the oven, because I really didn’t feel like making a big dinner. I just wanted to rest.
