He asked me my name
I was taken aback by that.
No one really asks me,
much less if they're new.
Sometimes I don't even think people know I'm here
in the back of every class, listening.
I didn't tell him though.
I ignored the rest of his pleas.
I could care less about him,
But I still feel some sort of guilt.
