Okay so I’ve never ever written anything, but I’m in the creative mood so why the hell not try? At least that’s what I think. I’m a huge fan of Alex Gaskarth and the rest of the boys of the amazing band that ruins my life daily. So here goes, be nice to me, I love you. :D

I felt like I was suffocating in Barton, Maryland, I was getting nowhere there, no matter what I did. I was eighteen when I left my two older brothers, Justin and Robert and my two little sisters Abby and Sophie along with my mother and step dad. I always wanted to move to a big city, like New York or Los Angeles, all those places with the big bright lights and talented musicians or acts on every street corner. The smell of everyday life not stopping for anyone, the rundown buildings, amazing archeological buildings, even the small parts of those huge cities amazed me. I wanted to live in that, be that. I wanted out of Barton and now here I am, with my best friend Emily, a residing citizen in New York. I’m Harper and I’m living my dream to be the world’s best actress, cliché right? I didn’t want to leave my family, but I just wanted a chance.

I Skype with the pigs I call siblings and listen to my mom tear up telling me that she loves me while my dad tells me to make sure my skirt isn’t too short every night. I would never cut ties with them, I couldn’t

Harper-

“Harper”

“Harper”

“Haaaaaarrrrrrpppeeeeeerrrr!”

What is that annoying racket? Oh yeah, my best fucking friend who doesn’t understand I need sleep. I slowly opened my eyes, squinting back as the light hit my poor eyes. We were on a subway train, it smelled like BO and fish; let me tell you how refreshing that is at six am on a Wednesday morning. There were about twenty people in with us, not as crowded as it usually is, a few of them sending glares toward Emily because she was screeching my name. I took out my headphone that was blasting “I wanna feel weightless and that would be enough”, my favorite song by my favorite band.

“What em”, I asked already feeling the weight of my eyelids coming back.

“We’re almost at our stop, get your shit, I don’t want to have to rush again”, she said in a tone that made me have to bite my tongue. I love Em, I do, but being with your best friend every second of everyday, it gets hard to not get annoyed sometimes.

“Okay, I’m coming” , I looked over and saw a blonde hair boy that immediately looked back down at the book he was reading with black aviators on and his hood up. He looked oddly familiar.

DING.

“It’s our stop harp, hurry the hell up!” she said, luckily the damn tone was gone.

I got up and grabbed the script I fell asleep reading, a real keeper, and my purse and McDonalds bag, heading for the exit. I looked at the blonde hair guy again, his nose was deep in his book so I couldn’t see his face, just something about him looked so familiar, and it caused goose bumps on my neck.

“Harper, jesus hurry up, turn off that damn music and walk” Emily started screeching again.

She wasn’t too into the music I listened to, and it bothered her that I always had a headphone in one ear. It’s not that bad, it’s music like All Time Low, You Me at Six, Twenty One Pilots, Our Last Night, stuff along those lines, but Emily doesn’t like it. She is a full on one direction fan, but I can’t judge, The Wanted have some catchy music.

By the time I got out of my thoughts, we were already walking up to our apartment building.

Alex-

I wanna feel weightless and that would be enough...”

Hey, I know that song. my song. I looked up to see two girls sitting about 30 feet away, one just waking up and one staring at her. The blonde hair one was the girl waking up her friend. She had short blonde hair, almost shorter than mine and had a nice body from what I could tell; she looked like she had green eyes and big dimples. She had chipmunk cheeks and that were hilarious, I could just picture what it looked like with a big smile on her face. I snorted quietly to myself.

And then I noticed her friend. I’m normally not one to ogle but I couldn’t take my eyes off her, she had dark brown hair down to her mid back, it was straightened but had some wave to it near the middle. She had blue eyes and a tan face with just a little mascara on, her cheeks were rosy and she had a baby nose. Her teeth reminded me of Rian's, absolutely damn perfect, and she only had one dimple.  Her body, well I want her under me. All day. Her slim figure fit well in her bright red hoodie and black sweat pants. She dressed comfortable and didn’t wear much make up but she was the most beautiful girl I’ve seen.

I saw her look my way and I delved my head back into A Separate Peace by John Knowles. I didn’t want her to see me staring, which would be too awkward.  When I hoped she wasn’t looking, I looked up to see her blonde friend dragging her through the doors.

I knew I had heard her listening to my music, the band I’m in All Time Low. I prayed that she would come to our concert on Saturday, but that was a few days away, I probably wouldn’t even remember. I had to get back to the bus and get the food to the guys before they came and found me and I didn’t want to find out what they would do to me. I got off at the next stop and headed to the tour bus with her blue eyes still on my mind.
