I'm such an asshole, sorry. CHAPTER 15
Harper-
“Harp” I knew exactly what would happen when I opened my eyes. I didn't want to watch him walk out the door and me have to go home and deal with everything that has been happening.
“Baby I need you to wake up” He didn't sound overly enthusiastic either. I cracked open my eyes to see him squatting in front of me. He had his hands on either side of my legs. He smiled slightly and leaned up to kiss my forehead.
“I need to take you home, morning breath, then I gotta get outta here.” He said. I cringed at the last part. I would never expect him to stay but I wanted him to.
“Okay, let me get some stuff together” We decided to stay at a cheap motel last night, Alex didn't have his bus keys and was avoiding waking the guys, and I didn't want to take any chance in the world to have to stay at my house one more day. I was going to have to throw everything away soon.
We eventually packed up and we set off for my house.
“It's weird isn't it?” He asked, smirking at me, with out arms swinging in between us.
“I know. You should change your clothes eventually.” I tried my hardest to keep the straight face but it wasn't working. I snorted an inhumane sound and started laughing at my own joke.
“I mean the girlfriend part but I like these clothes thank you very much, they make me seem thin.” I rolled my eyes.
“Idiot. Yeah, I guess. Have fun with those fans” I laughed a little.
“Hmm, maybe.”
He turned and looked at me. “But i'll have more fun with you” He leaned down and set his lips upon mine for no longer than a second. “Cliche enough?”
“Never Mr. Gaskarth” I laughed and walked up the stairs to my door with him in tow behind me.
I stopped at my door and turned around to face him. Jesus I was already crying.
“Hey, no tears. I'll be back soon! We're only at max 7 hours away, that's not too bad right. My weekends are yours. I know you can't get enough of me anyways.” His hands were on either side of my face as I spoke and I nodded.
“Kiss meh, my lady?” I put my lips on his automatically. His scruff sort of rubbed against my nose and I smiled. It was one of the many things I would miss. I loved the way that he one hundred percent of the time smelled so good. His hand was always in mine and he always put a smile on my face. He always managed to show up when I needed him, even if I wasn't sure I did. He always hugged me, or always worried about how I was doing. Like last night, we were in the crowd, near the side so we weren't around the rough people. But even though we weren't a few guys got rough near me and I kind of got in between them, but the next thing I knew he stepped on one of their feet enough that they finally moved and he could hold my hand again.
I moved my mouth faster as I got closer and wrapped my arms around his neck. His hand was firmly attached to the small of my back and the other was on the left side of my neck. I knew the moment that I departed my lips from his was the moment that he was going to turn around and that was going to be it for a while, he had shows to play and I had to figure out how to pay for my own apartment now.
I started to be constricted for air so I pulled back but not without moving either of my arms.
He pulled back though with a kiss to the forehead and a “see ya soon, love” and then he was gone.
