My heels clicked on the pavement as the adrenaline pumped through my veins. My heart raced as the sweat poured down my face and back. The world around me was dead silent; the only noise was my breathing that seemed it could be heard from miles away and my shoes heels. Working undercover was fun. The only bad part: the heels. My legs hurt and I was seriously going to trade in these four inch heels for a pair of boots. Some boots I could silently sneak up on the target.

The dark hallways made my skin crawl. I had my night vision goggles on, but still the dark is what got me. My ear piece, that was so small you couldn’t see it with the human eye, transmitted a voice.

“Alex, are you in? Over.” My partner, Mark said from command. He knew I was in, he hacked the security system! But he always checked; I guess it was for reassurance.

“Yeah, I’m in. The hallways are dark, no sign of anyone.” I came to a corner, stopped, back against the wall and swept the area with my gun.

“Alex, remember, these are big guys and there’s a lot of them.” Mark spoke and static filled my ear piece, causing me to flinch. I knew we lost contact and I was on my own from now. I checked my gun, fixing the silencer. Surprise attack, I smirked. I rounded the next corner and checked again. My suspicions proved correct and two men guarded the door. They stood still and were huge. They had big machine guns, as I was proved correct again.

I stepped out and in an instant shot and killed the first one then the second before they could even react. I stealthy moved to the door, the entryway barely lit. What idiots, I thought. They couldn’t even see if someone was coming! That seemed to be their only flaw. Everything was planned out perfect. From the two guards by each door, the heavily secured building and the men patrolling the halls. But, this is where I come in.

I opened the door after I made my way around the dead bulldozers. The door didn’t creak and I was thankful for that. There were lights on in this big, warehouse type room and my night vision goggles switched automatically to heat censored and I scanned the area. The security camera’s moved my way and I held up three fingers, signaling three minutes. This place would blow up in three minutes, whether I was out or not. It would destroy the necular weapons and bodies. Killing them was just for extra percussion.

My heat sensors picked up two bodies behind the second row of shipping crates and I made my way silently to the end of the row. My heart pounded as I thought of what I was about to do. My hands sweated on the gun. This wasn’t even my first assignment and I always felt like this. My shoes my no more noise as I moved in the blink of an eye.

The men backs were facing me. I clinched the gun between my hands and turned around. My shoulders square, my body tense everywhere. I pulled the trigger once, then twice. The bodies fell down to the ground with a silent thump. One more to go, I thought. My silencer on the gun quieted the tow deadly shots so I still wasn’t heard.

I turned away and looked at my watch, two minutes and thirty seconds to get out. Santos, the leader and number one arms dealer in the Middle East, had to be killed. He would be easy, so I thought another sneak attack.

I made my way over to the offices hurriedly but silently. There were four doors on the south wall. I’d have to think fast if I want to get out of here before it blows. I opened the first door, only to find it unequipped. I opened the second and after a sweep found it empty also. Two more left with one minute and fifty five seconds left.
