Max's POV

I walk down the stairs to see Chloe's truck parked in the lot. I smile at the sight of the blue haired girl leaning against the driver seat door and I rushed over to her. Before Chloe was able to look up at me and jump on her, wrapping my arms tightly around her neck, digging my face into her hair. Chloe returned the hug, adding a couple kisses on both of my cheeks.

We pulled away from each other. "Damn Mad Max! What'd you do this time?!" Chloe said with enthusiasm in her voice.

I respond to Chloe with a shrug, "Victoria was being a bitch again. Obviously she didn't understand the first time."

"What hella shit thing did she do now?"

"She called me a dyke and it just set me off... so I figured I'd help her by screwing her head on since it seemed to be a bit loose." I laughed.

Chloe looked at me with an evil smirk. "Damn Max!"

I giggle, "I'm so hardcore."

We climb into Chloe's truck and she pulls out of the parking lot.

I blush at the sight of the picture on Chloe's dashboard. I look to see the blue haired girl glowing in the sunlight. I smile looking at her. She looks back at me and puts her hand on my leg. I took her hand and intertwined them in my own. Chloe hella Price. What did I do to ever deserve you...

Chloe's POV

Max Caulfield. I love you so much. What did I do to ever deserve you...

Max's POV

I jumped out of the passenger seat and started walking towards the front door.

"Hey Mad Max," Chloe yelled, "Since you're hella badass now, why don't we find another way to get into the house?"

I rolled my eyes, let go of the front door handle, and walk up to Chloe. I look up at Chloe's window and back at Chloe. She smiles at me and then winks. I look back up to the window and the side of the house, planning my route. I lift my leg up and jump onto a trash can. Alright Max... don't fall. I jump up and grab the rain gutter. I then swing my feet up towards the roof, but miss my footing. The weight of my body being thrown back down loosens my grip on the gutter, I get thrown backwards from the momentum of my feet, and that's when my right hand goes out. Time stood still. I see the terror in Chloe's face and her arms out to try and catch me.... it's okay Che. I got this. I rewind to before I throw my leg up. I dangling there and I look down. Chloe is watching me and smiling.

I call down to her. "Hey Chloe! Mind giving me a little boost?" She nods and pushes my legs up while I use my arms to push myself up and over the ledge. Chloe lifts herself up onto the roof with no problem... she must do this a lot. She opens the window and  we climb into her room.

She lays down on her bed and starts to light one up and smoke. I join her... this time, not coughing like a maniac. Chloe says, startled, "Woah babe... have you been practicing?.... without me? Ouch."

I laugh the smoke out of my mouth. "No. I guess with me dressing like this now and getting in trouble and whatnot... I'm just confident."

Chloe looks puzzled. "I don't know what the fuck that has to do with you suddenly knowing how to smoke but whatever. I hella dig it." She throws her arm around me and kisses me. I kiss her back. Everytime always feels like the first. The kiss lasted for a long time, until we pulled away for air. Out of breath, Chloe says, "I have something for you." She gets up and walks over to her desk and starts shuffling through the pile of papers. She hides a piece of paper behind her back and she looks at the ground. I try to lean over to see what's behind her back, but she kept twisting her body to prevent me from seeing it. She sits back on the bed next to me, still with the papers behind her back. Chloe started to show a little smirk as she hid behind her blue hair.

I decide to finally speak up, "What are you hiding, Chloe?"

"A little something I drew for you..." She takes the paper out from behind her back and hands it to me face down. I turn it over to reveal and beautifully detailed sketch of what looks like a tattoo sleeve design.

"Chloe.. I-I..."

"Don't worry! I'm not asking you to get it or anything... I just put everything that reminds me of you, us, onto paper." She blushed.

"Chloe I absolutely love it." The drawing looked similar to Chloe's tattoo with the red ribbon, the flowers and leaves. But instead of a skull, there was a shadow of a deer and at the bottom was a skyline drawing of the lighthouse we played at as kids, along with the treehouse next to it. There were also scattered blue butterflies around the drawing as well as ones that would go up the front of my shoulder.... if I were to get it. It was so beautiful. With the picture still in my arms, I jump to wrap my arms around Chloe and kiss her passionately again.

After letting go I tell her, "I love it so much Chloe. It has everything that could ever remind me of us and.... I love it so much Chlo. Thank you."

"You're welcome Max. See I know tattoos are permanent and I'm just saying that----"

"Chloe Price. I have loved you for as long as I remember. From little pirates to pirate punks. Nothing can ever come between us I know it ...and I know that we will be together forever."

"I'll forever be your partner in crime Mad Max."

"As long as you're my partner in time." I giggled and took Chloe back into my arms and kissed her again.
