Chapter Fifty Two

The next morning Randhir woke up and glanced at the clock on the night stand, it was nearly noon. He groaned wondering why Sanyukta didn't wake him up. He had also missed this morning's workout session. He quickly got out of bed and headed towards the bathroom to take a shower. He came out after fifteen minutes, pulled out his clothes from the cupboard and got ready. He sighed looking at his watch and called out "Sanyukta..." to tell her to get his brunch upstairs.

"Sanyukta...", he called her out again but there was no response..

"Sanyukta.... Sanyukta....." , he kept calling her out as he climbed down the stairs . He walked inside the kitchen only to find Kaajal masi scraping and peeling the potatoes for lunch.

"Sanyukta kahan hai???", he asked her as soon as she looked towards him.

"Sanyukta Bitya to Subah SE nazar nahi aayi..", Kajal maasi replied .

"Subah SE nazar nahi aayi???? Arey yahi Kahin hogi aapne notice nahi kiya hoga ..Errrrm ... Anyways aap please mera liya Nashta table pe laga dijiye . Mujhe office ke liye late ho raha hai..", he chipped and strode upstairs towards Raima's room and knocked her door.

"Bhai Aap !!! Aap Abhi tak office nahi gaye ??", Raima muttered looking at her watch.

" Nahi Woh Actually I overslept ... By the way tumne Sanyukta ko Kahin Dekha hai???"

"Sanyukta??? Woh Toh Subah Subah Bikaner chali gayi???"

"What!!!!! Woh aise kaise Mujhe Bina bataye ja Sakti hai.. Tum mujhse mazak Toh nahi kar rahi Ho na??"

"Bhai... Main kyon Aapse jhoot boloongi.. Woh Mein subah jab Gym SE laut rahi thi.. I met her in the hall with her bags . She was waiting for the cab . Woh kaafi upset lag rahi thi aur ro bhi rahi thi . Jab Maine ussey poocha tab usney bataya ki uske Daadi Bua ki tabyat bohot kharab hai aur woh unse Milney Bikaner ja rahi hai.. You were sleeping at that time so she asked me to inform you about it."

"Aur yeh baat tum Mujhe Ab Bata rahi Ho?? ", Randhir chipped glaring her.

"I'm sorry Bhai.. Woh Mein bhool gayi thi....", Raima replied with her head hanging low.

"You know what ??? Tum dono Ek jaisi Ho.. Ek ne Mujhe batana zaroori nahi samjha aur doosri Mujhe inform Karna hi bhool gayi..... Tumhe pata bhi hai.. Jaipur airport SE Bikaner janey ka raasta 6 hours ka hai .. Pata nahi Woh kahan hogi .. Kis haal Mein hogi.. How can she be so irresponsible??? Agar usey jana hi tha Toh mujhse kehti main le jaata .... Waise bhi mom dad kal dophar tak pachuney hi waale hai. Woh kuch der aur wait nahi kar Sakti thi??? Aur tum ne usey akele jaane kaise diya ...usey Roka Kyon nahi ???? Both of you are ridiculous......", Randhir roared and marched back to his room slamming the door behind him.

He strode towards the bedside where his mobile was getting charged. He pulled out the wire agitatedly and started dialling her number but to his dismay he heard a recorded voice which said that "the number you are calling is currently out of coverage area . Please try again after some time..". He dialled her number again but heard the same recorded voice. He gritted his teeth in irritation and left for office without having his breakfast.

Three hours later at the meeting in Shekhawath Empires :

Man: "So thank you everybody for joining us today for a brief presentation on the HR Department's progress. I'll take you through the recruitment, training and the new HR initiative that we've come up with. Let's start with the recruitment. We had 71 inductions last year........................................................"
