The Special Someone

    "HEY BABE!" your boyfriend had called as he came down stairs as you talked with the Alteans. 

    'Crap!' You thought. With the news that you were going to go away with your brother for Voltron, you had completely forgotten about your boyfriend who had stayed the night with you last night.

    (Y/B/N) looked around the room at the Paladins and Alteans, completely and utterly confused. 

    "....Did I miss something?" he asked, his (H/C) hair falling messily in a cute, untidy way that you loved. 

    "Who's this, (Y/N)? And why did he call you 'babe'?" Lance asked protectively. You walked over to (Y/B/N), and wrapped your arm around his waist as you looked at the group.

    "Guys... This is my boyfriend, (Y/B/N)..." you explained. Everyone squealed excitedly for you except for Keith and Lance, who both seemed to glare at him.

    "You have... A boyfriend?" Lance asked, looking like he was ready to kill (Y/B/N). I nodded slowly. 

    "That is sooo sweet!" Princess Allura and Pidge squealed together, making you blush.

    "You still haven't told me who they are..."  (Y/B/N) whispered in your ear. 

    "Okay, so this is my older brother Lance, and his friends Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Keith, Allura, and Coran," you said, skipping over the fact that Allura was a princess as you pointed each of them out.

    "Oh, so you're the older brother she's always talking about," (Y/B/N) said with a smile as he extended his hand for Lance to shake. Lance glared at him before shaking it grudgingly. 

    "So what are you guys doing here?" (Y/B/N) asked, wrapping his arm around you once again.

    Everyone went silent. No one knew how to tell him that they were going to take his girlfriend away, with a high probability that she would never come back. "Maybe you should tell him, (Y/N)," Lance suggested. 

    "I can't...." you said, looking away from the group. 

    "Tell me what?" (Y/B/N) asked.

    "Oh for crying out loud, we're taking your girlfriend away and she's not going to come back for a long time!" Keith yelled out, glaring at your boyfriend. (Y/B/N) tightened his hold around you. 

    "No you're not," he growled. 

    "Yes, we are," Keith growled back. The two of them had a staring contest; well, more of a glaring contest.

    "(Y/B/N), they're going to take me to Garrison to become a pilot. I won't be back for a bit, and you know I can't pass up this offer," you lied, but the sad look on your face was real. 

    "Oh..." Was all that he could say in return, "When do you leave?" he asked. 

    "Tomorrow morning," Lance answered him.

    "Then I'm going to stay with you until then," (Y/B/N) promised. His phone went off and he looked down to read it. "No I'm not," he said annoyedly. 

    "I have to go," he said, leaning down to kiss you on the cheek. 

    "I love you," he said. 

    "I love you too, (Y/B/N)," you replied as he walked out the front door, Keith and Lance glaring at him the whole way.

Keith's POV:

    Babe? Hold on, no one should be calling her babe. That would mean I've already lost her, and I haven't even tried! But I mean, I totally don't care at ALL about who she dates. UGH, why are feelings so hard?!?!

    That's when he walked down; some annoying little twerp who acted confused and got her to wrap his arm around her. Smooth move, guy. She introduced him to us, and everyone oohed and ahhhed over how 'cute' they were together. Lance and I were the only ones who rejected the idea.

    Then she introduced the rest of us to him. I glared at him the whole time, trying to get my point across that he was making a huge mistake by being here. After awkwardly getting a handshake from Lance, he wanted to know what we were doing there.

    Lance had decided that it would be a good thing for (Y/N) to explain, but she couldn't do it. It was too "sad" for her, please. I was beyond annoyed at this point, and simply glared at him while yelling "Oh for crying out loud, we're taking your girlfriend away and she's not going to come back for a long time!" Then, I had a glare off with (Y/B/N). It was pathetic; he thought that he could ever stop me if I truly was going to go against him in a fight.

    After that went on for a bit, (Y/N) stopped us. She told him the 'truth' since she couldn't actually tell him that she may die while saving the universe. He then decided that he would stay with her until she had to leave, but luckily for him, someone texted him and he had to go. But not before kissing her and getting an 'I love you' as well. Boy, if looks could kill.

    Watch out, (Y/B/N), you've already made my list.
