Chapter 6-Mika

When I made it downstairs, Emi-San called me over to the kitchen.

"Ah Mika-Kun it's Lucy-chan's birthday today and I'm making curry but I don't have carrots. can you please run to the store to get some?"

"Of course"
I said with a smile

"Thank you so much, here"
Emi said handing me some money.

"I'll be back~"
I said happily as I made my way out of the orphanage and to the store that was close by.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!"
Someone screamed in the distance. My eyes widened and I instinctively ran in the direction the scream came from.

I saw a girl with long hair tied in pigtails, on the ground with 2 boys standing in front of her.  One was wearing a red hat and a basic tee with jeans. The other was wearing overalls. As I got closer I heard the boy with the red hat speak to the girl that was on the ground.
"Come on Krul!! Be my girlfriend already!! You know how long I've liked you!!"

I stepped next to the girl.

"What's going on here?"
I asked with my hands crossed over my chest.

"She doesn't want to be my girlfriend but she's always flirting with me!"
The boy with the red hat said.

Then I got an idea. I put the bag of carrots down on the floor next to me, and crouched down next to the girl.

"She doesn't want to because she's already my girlfriend."
I said, taking her hand in mine and looking her in the eyes.
"Isn't that right"
She smiled and nodded her head.

"I'm not buying it"
The boy in the overalls said.

"Yeah prove it."
The boy with the red hat chimed in.

Suddenly the girl grabbed my shirt and crashed our lips together.

What the...my first kiss?!?!?!?!?!
So soft.........wait what the heck?!?!?!? I don't even know her.......and she's kissing me.........
She wrapped her arms around my neck and I felt myself start to melt into the kiss.
What's happening?!?!?!?!?! Am I actually enjoying this?!?!?!
She slowly pulled away, still holding onto my collar.

"Ok ok! Fine! Let's go Daichi before they start eating each other's face off right here."
The boy in the red hat grimaced.

After they left the girl turned to me and bowed.

"I'm so sorry......I didn't know what else to do."

"so y-you kissed m-me?!"
She nodded and lifted her head, showing her blushing face.
"A-are you mad?"
She asked warily.

"Should I be?"
I replied, standing up.

"W-well that was my first
K-kiss...."
No way...

"Mine too......"
We both blushed.

"W-well nice meeting you, but I got to go now......."
I said as I started my way back to the orphanage.
"Wait!!!!!!!!"
She called out to me.
I stopped walking and turned back around.

"Ummmm.....What's your name?"
She asked shyly.

"Mikaela Shindo. What's your name?"

"Oh, umm......I'm Krul Tepes...."

"Well it was nice meeting you krul-San"
I started walking away.
"Mika-San!!!!!!!! Please don't forget me........"
She out
I turned around, smiled and said
"Trust me I won't forget you"

The way back to the orphanage became a blur. The only thing that I could think of was how I had just had my first kiss stolen out of nowhere. I unconsciously walked into the kitchen and accidentally bumped into shuu, as I was putting the carrots on the counter.
He said something but I didn't even bother trying to think about what he said.

I simply nodded my head at him as I walked by, and walked into the large living room, where I found all the kids sitting in a circle around Yuu-Chan and Shinoa-Chan. Shinoa-Chan appeared to be styling Yuu-Chan's hair. Yuu- Chan didn't seem to be enjoying it at all since he was constantly making faces that screamed 'pain'.

I went and sat by myself in the corner of the living room. I wanted to be alone with my thoughts for a while.

I put my fingertips to my lower lips, and murmured to myself.

"Oi! Mika! You alright over there?"
Someone said, but I was too lost in my thoughts to care.

The person leaned down and practically shouted in my face.
"Oi!!!!are you deaf?!?"

"She kissed me.....She kissed
me....."
I murmured over and over again, still not being able to believe what happened a few minutes ago.

"Who kissed you?!"
The person asked.

I lifted my head to see Yuu-Chan sitting next to me looking intrigued.
"Huh? Uh it's nothing yuu-chan"

"weirdo."
He muttered.
I rolled my eyes and nodded, looking around the room.

"Hey Yuu-Chan, where's Shinoa-Chan?"
He facepalmed as though I had just told the worst joke ever.

"Damn you really weren't paying attention today. Emi-san needed to borrow her for a bit."

"Oh ok ."

"Yeah, I hope she comes back soon it's boring without her."
He looked down as he said this.

I pouted.
"But Yuu-chan!! I'm not boring!!"

He smiled slightly.
"Oh really?"

I nodded my head.

"Then try and catch me!!"
He said as he bolted for the other side of the living room.

"Yuu-Chan!!!!"

I said as I chased after him along with the other kids. I hope Shinoa-Chan does come back soon. Yuu-Chan has way too much energy.
