The Forgotten

Taehyung stared at the wall of the cave, his breathing calm after the tense conversation with his old friend, Jungkook.

It had to happen sooner or later, and it happened sooner rather than later.

Sighing, he cuddled himself in a fetal position as the cold from the nightly spring air hovered over him.

Jungkook had chosen to sleep outside, far away from him as possible.

He didn't mean to get angry.
H*ll, he didn't mean to speak so freely about what Jungkook was.
He knew it was a touchy subject, but when anger takes control, personal things don't matter.
All he could wonder about were his friends.
Yoongi, probably somewhere clueless and lonely.
Dejja, probably heartbroken, and full of hate for him.
He never really got to apologize.
To say he really, truly loved her.
He felt guilty for leaving them behind.
He felt guilty, that he wasn't there to protect them.
Nakii was right.
Outsiders only cared about themselves.

He wasn't going to let that continue.

With a new sense of determination, he walked out of the cave, ignoring the night air.

He had to find Nakii.
He had to find his friends.

He had to find Dejja.

"Tae Tae?" Taehyung froze at the all too familiar nickname.
He turned around to see Jungkook right behind him.

"Why are you leaving so soon?" He asked.

Taehyung looked down at his feet," I'm sorry. I should've told you I was leaving."

"You aren't holding me captive anymore?"

Taehyung shook his head," No, and I never should've taken you in the first place. You are free to do what you please."

Jungkook stared at him a moment, sensing there was something wrong," You okay hyung?"

"I don't think I am,Kookie."

Taehyung walked up to Jungkook and hugged him.

"Thank you for being my friend, but I must leave you." He mumbled.

Jungkook shook his head," Whatever you go through, I'll be right there."

Shocked, Taehyung smiled widely. And they both started to walk farther from the cave.

"By the way, where are we going?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung smiled," To get our friends back."
