£6: No, Not Again

Jason's Pov

Adam was frantically knocking on my door, sometimes even trying to break it down. It didn't work, for I kept leaning against the door.

"Jason, please open the door! We aren't mad at you!" Adam tried to comfort me. I knew that outside my door, Ty was also there, but I'm not sure who else. I kept my mouth shut, trying hopelessly to stop the tears from falling and staining my cheeks. I had to take off my helmet due to the steam forming on the inside, and I placed it on the floor. The reflection of my face showed a new, scary feature. My eyes, they were white, but as soon as I saw them, they faded back into the familiar chocolate brown.

Why...? Why me...?

I heard a few mumbles, but was unable to decipher what they were saying. More tears plopped down and onto the floor.

"Jason?" A voice made me jump, and when I looked up I saw Seto. Not wanting to make eye contact, I found myself looking back down at the ground.

"Jason," He knelt down by me. "We don't blame you for what happened. Trust me when I say that everything is going to be okay." The calmness in his voice. It bothered me with the fact that he tried to sympathize as if he knew what I had to deal with. It sparked something.

"No!! Can't you see Seto?! Nothing is okay anymore, nothing!! I'm not the one who's supposed to be in this stupid mess, I did nothing wrong! I don't see you doing anything Seto! You have it easy, just watching as I suffer alone!! If it weren't for Ty getting himself in this dumb hybrid mess, I wouldn't be this...this monster!!! Why can't you just leave me alone!!!!" I didn't realize that I had made my way onto my feet. Seto had taken a few steps back, and I actually had time to process what I said.

That's when I remembered. Ty was outside, and I just completely dissed him without a single thought or care. He heard everything. When I looked at my helmet, I saw two cold, and unfamiliar eyes staring back at me. I tried to make a run for it, but Seto managed to grab onto the back of my suit.

"Seto let go!!" I yelled.

"Adam I could use your help right about now!" Seto yelled at the door. I felt a few more tears roll down my face as Adam opened the door, him and Jerome both running in. Mitch and Ty were there as well, but stayed out and watched.

"Jason calm down!" Jerome held onto my left arm as Adam grabbed onto my right.

"Get off of me, I have to go!! Let go of me!!" I yelled, twisting and turning as an attempt to escape. Adam looked at me pleadingly.

"Jason please! Stop struggling and let us help you!" There was a small crack in Adam's voice when he spoke. I suddenly felt a strange heat beginning to emerge in my palms.

Wh-what?! No! This is bad, I have to-

It was too late, an explosion set off from both of my hands, causing Jerome, Adam, and Seto to get sent flying backwards. A huge cloud of smoke formed from the bombs, and I saw it as my chance to run. I crashed through the window and flew as fast as I could.

It didn't take long for me to feel a tail grow, and a claw wrap around the back of my head. When I looked down, I found my spacesuit gone. Tears threatened to fall, but my body refused to let them as I flew faster.

Mitch's Pov

The explosions left Adam, Jerome, and Seto by the wall. I was the only one in full condition, for Ty was still injured by Jason previously. I took a deep breath.

I'm fired up...

Fire swirled around me as my blaze form kicked in. I flew out the window, chasing after Jason.
