I Wanna Get To Know You

Ryan POV
I heard screaming and I jumped out of my sleep. I looked and seen it was dove. She must be having a nightmare. I started shaking her and calling out her name. She finally woke up and she was soaked in sweat. She had smeared makeup and tears on her face. She just stared at me. I think she was in shock. Next thing I knew she wrapped her arms around me. I layed back down with her on my chest. I rubbed her back until she fell back asleep. I slowly drifted back to sleep to. 6 hours later.... Ryan POV
I woke up and seen dove staring at me. She was still on my chest though. Well hello there I said making her giggle and making me smile. Except my smile faded when I seen her face. It was bruised and swollen. What's wrong she asked me. Your face is bruised and swollen I said. I know I seen it when I washed my makeup off she said. Wow she was beautiful even without makeup I thought to myself. I'm hungry she said rolling beside me. Ok well I have food downstairs I told her. Ok she said and I stood up. Are you coming I asked her and she smirked. Up she said holding out her arms. Honestly I think she is still a little drunk from last night. But to me it's quite adorable, so I walked over to the bed. I picked her up like a baby. You're my little baby I said to her and she smiled. I carefully walked down the steps and sat her on the couch. So what do you wanna eat I asked her. What do you have she said standing up. She stumbled a little but then walked into the kitchen. Yeah she was definetly still drunk. Ummmmm I said looking. Do you have any cereal she asked. Yeah I have cocoa pebbles I said to her. I want some she said jumping up and down. Ok calm down then I said laughing. I want cocoa pebbles she whined acting like a child. What's the magic word I said playing along. Pwwwweeeeaassse she said like a two year old. Ok go sit at the table then I told her. She looked at me, then sat at the table. I brought the cereal and things to the table. I heard her stomach growl so I gave her the cereal fast. Thank you she said before eating. Your welcome my little princess I said making her blush. You're not eating she asked me. No I'm not hungry I told her. She didn't say anything she just continued eating. Five minutes later she finished. I wanna get to know you I said to her. Well you should know a lot about me. Considering that you were basically stalking me for two weeks she said. How'd you know I was stalking you I asked her. I noticed you only came when I was working. Also when the guys would touch me you gave them death glares. I also seen a shadow outside my apartment she said. Oh and someone called me staying someone got into my records and personal information. Except I had all that deleted and I only kept little information on it she said. Well that explains why it only said her birthday, gender and birth place. And im never telling you my real name she said grinning. I think I can change that I said. In that second she got up and ran. I got up and started chasing her. Honestly I could of caught her in two seconds. Except I wasn't ready to tell her I was a vampire. So I pretended to run as fast as I could. Two minutes later I grabbed her. I started tickling her. Ok now tell me your name or I won't stop I said. No never she said through laughing. Ok then I said and started tickling her even more. Five minutes later she finally gave. Fine my real name is she said out of breath. Is what I asked, honestly I was getting impatient. Chloe Hosterman she said still out of breath. Well that's a beautiful name I said to her. I'm not sure if she blushed or her face was just red from laughing. Are you happy now she asked. Not quite I said and she rolled her eyes. Why do you go by Dove Cameron I asked. Because..... I just do she said avoiding the question. Why did you become a stripper I asked her. Her eyes went from annoyed to really sad. Sorry you don't have to tell me I said to her. No I'll tell you, but I might start crying. But no more questions after this one ok she asked me. Ok I said and she started with her story. It happened two years ago on my sixteenth birthday she started. A few days before we had flown to a different country to celebrate. On the last day though that's when it happened. It was a massive shooting at the airport. Me and my sister watched our parents get shot. We were slowly creeping out the door until she ran into something. They heard her and she told me to run. So I did but when I looked back..... she was dead. When she said that her voice broke and she had tears in her eyes. After hiding for days someone rescued me. But life was never the same she said. At this moment she burst out into tears. I pulled her into my lap so she was facing me. She put her head on my shoulder. I'm sorry I shouldnt of asked you that I said to her. No I needed someone to tell my feelings to. I've kept them inside of me so long she said crying. Just so you know I'll always be here for you I said to her. Ok she whispered and started calming down. Fifteen minutes later she finally stopped crying. Can I ask you one more question. Sure, but I mean it that's all she told me. What was that nightmare you had about I asked her. It wasn't a nightmare it was a flashback she said. I didn't ask any more questions because I knew what she meant. I will always keep you safe ok I asked her. You will she asked me looking really shocked. Yeah why do you seem so unsure I asked. Because you barely know me and you wanna protect me. The last person who was like that was my boss. I tightened my fist when she said that. You think I'm gonna hurt you I asked. I just don't wanna be hurt again she said getting off my lap. I'm not gonna hurt you I said getting agitated. Dove POV
Ryan had this look in his eyes that looked like anger. I backed up as much as I could. He must of realized I was scared because he started looking confused. Are you scared of me he asked me. A little bit right now I said looking down. I'm sorry he said and stood up then walked to I assume the bathroom. There is something strange about him. Like he's not human or something, or maybe I'm just crazy. Probably about twenty minutes later he came out. Do you wanna watch tv he asked me. Sure and we watched tv until the day was ended. But when I was laying down something went through my head. Is he gonna let me go home. And if he does will he continue to stalk me. Or are we dating now. Honestly this whole situation was confusing. I guess I'll ask him tomorrow. I felt him wrap his arms around me and I relaxed. He made me feel so safe. Before I knew it I was asleep.
