Dove POV
I seen it was the same guy who always watches me. He punched my boss and knocked him out. If you hit her again I will kill you he said to him. Although I'm pretty sure he was out cold. Come with me please said the guy. Why I asked him and he sighed. Please just come he pleaded. I saw him put his hand out and I grabbed it. He took me out the back way and brought me to his car. Where are we going I asked. Please just get in the car and I'll exlain he said. You are a stranger how can I trust you I asked him. He walked over to where I was standing. He pulled me close to him and he placed his lips on mine. Honestly I could've kissed him all night long. When we pulled away I was out of breath. Now please get in the car he said softly. Ok I said and got into the passenger side. He got in the driver's side and began driving. Please tell me where we are going I asked him once again. To my house he said, I started feeling nervous. Can't you just drop me off at my house I asked him. No I'm not taking any chances he said. I was really confused by his reply. What's that supposed to mean I asked him. You'll know later on he said smirking. This made me really uncomfortable. He must have noticed it. He put his hand on my leg. I'm not gonna hurt you like that bastard did ok he asked. Ok I said very softly. We are almost there he said twenty minutes later. I sighed and looked out the window. I'm gonna keep you safe he said. How do I know you're not some lunatic who is gonna rape me. Then murder me and then I will never be found I asked. He pulled over to the side of the road. He leaned in to me and kissed me yet again. This time things got a little heated. He slowly pulled me into his lap not breaking the kiss. His hands were on my waist and mine were over the top of the seat. We probably were making out for at least ten minutes. I finally pulled away when I needed full breaths of air. Does it seem like I would hurt you he asked me. No, but you have to stop answering me with kisses I said. He smiled and laughed a little. So we should probably get going he said. But I'm tired I whined, and he smiled. Well you can sleep when we get there he said. But I wanna sleep now I said and layed my head on his shoulder. I felt him start rubbing my back. We are almost there I promise he said to me. Fine I said and got back in the passenger seat. He started driving again until we finally arrived at a house. It surprisingly looked really nice. He got out the car and came over to my side. He opened the door and put his hand out. I grabbed it except my legs were asleep. When I stood up o started falling. Honestly I was a little confused why I wasn't on the ground. Until I realized ryan had caught me. How did he catch me that fast I wondered. I went to walk again but my legs weren't working. He then put me on his back and we walked in his house. Can I least know your name I asked him. He sat down on the couch and patted the spot next to him. I hesitantly sat down. My name is Ryan McCartan. Oh, what a nice name I said. Thanks he said and then there was an awkward silence. Is Dove Cameron your real name he asked me. Great, somebody is finally saying something about it I thought to myself. Uh, why would you ask that I said trying to avoid the the question. I don't it just doesn't seem real he said. But if it is, just know I wasn't trying to be rude he said. No its not I said really quiet. Then what is it he asked. I could tell he was curious. But these questions were getting on my nerves. I thought you said I could sleep when I got here. Unless you lied to me I said changing the subject. Yeah you can sleep follow me he said standing up. I followed him up the steps into a bedroom. You wouldn't mind if we shared a bed he asked me? No I wouldn't mind I said looking at the ground. Do you want one of my shirts to sleep in he asked. Ok I said and he threw me a shirt. I just stood there blushing until he noticed. What are you afraid to get dressed in front of me. I thought you'd be used to it because well you know he said smiling. I just looked at the floor. Ok I'll leave, tell me when you're dressed. I nodded and he walked out the room and shut the door. I put the shirt on and noticed it almost went to my ankles. Gosh ryan is so tall, unless I'm just way to short I thought to myself. I opened the door back and he walked in. You look cute in my shirt he said making me blush. Its weird I've never felt liked this before. Normally I talk a lot and never blush. Ryan POV
Dove is being so adorable, she won't stop blushing. Next time I see her boss though. Let's just say he won't be seen ever again. So do you wanna go to sleep now I asked her. Yeah she said so quiet I barely heard her. She slowly walked over to the bed and sat down. Are you thirsty I asked her. Yes she said and I told her I would go get her water. I walked down the steps and got her a water bottle. When I walked back into the bedroom she was asleep. She is so beautiful and I want her with me forever. Honestly I've never felt like this before. By that I mean I've never liked a human before. I've also never have been so protective over a human before. Maybe he was right, by he I mean the person who changed me. I remember exactly what he said . I had asked why he was gonna leave me alone. And was I going to be alone forever. He said " you won't be alone forever, one day you will find your soulmate". "She will change your life completely". "You will want to protect her from everything". "She will basically be your life" he said before he vanished. At the time I had no clue what he meant by that. Now I do, dove is my soulmate. But I need to find out her real name. I layed down in bed with all these thoughts going through my head. That's when something really hit me. How is she gonna react when I tell her I am a vampire.
