Chloe's POV
I woke up with Ryan's arms around me. I slowly slid them off and stood up. My body still hurts like hell. I still can't believe he did that. I don't even know how he did that. I started limping to the door until I felt arms go around my waist. I knew it was Ryan. Where are you going Chloe he asked. I didn't answer I just pulled away. I continued limping and I went down the steps. I opened the door and walked out. The sun was still coming up, it looked beautiful. Its gorgeous right Ryan asked creeping up behind me yet again. Would you stop following me I snapped at him. I have to follow you, to make sure you don't leave he said. He honestly is pissing me off with all this protective and obsessed stuff. Am I darling he said answering my thoughts. You know I have rights to I yelled to him. He went to say something but he stopped himself. I read his mind and knew what he was gonna say. I don't care if you're my "master" I don't need you, you need me I said agitated. Actually you do need me he said and I looked at him. He then kissed me and touched my stomach. Next thing I knew all the pain in my body was gone. I pulled away and just looked at him. I could've healed by myself I said. You're so cute when you're annoyed he said. I ran into the woods and went to the top of a tree. I sat and just looked at the sun rising. In two seconds Ryan was up in the tree with me. You need to stop running he told me. I ignored him and watched the sun. He thinks he can control me just because he has powers. No I control myself I don't need him I thought to myself. I knew he was reading my thoughts. Maybe I'll just get him to stay up late so he sleeps longer and then I'll escape I joked in my head. No you will not he said to me. I laughed because I knew I was joking. I looked at the sun and seen it had arisen pretty high now. I jumped off the tree and started walking at a normal pace. I heard him following me but I continued walking. I walked for like ten minutes until I found a lake. It had a cliff hanging over it to. I took off my shirt and pants and ran to the top of the cliff. I did a graceful dive off of it and landed in the water. I swam around and looked around. I didn't see Ryan anywhere. For some reason I feel hurt that I didn't see him. Did he leave me, I felt scared with out him. Two seconds later I heard a splash behind me. I turned and seen it was Ryan. I swam to him and asked why'd you leave me. You wanted me to leave you alone he replied. I hugged him, please don't do that. I thought you said you didn't need me he said smirking. I rolled my eyes and went underwater. I reached the bottom of the lake and just sat there. I opened my eyes and saw how beautiful it looked. Being a vampire can have some pretty cool bonuses. I went back up and for some reason gasped for air. I got out of the water and layed on the grass. Ryan got out and laid next to me. I love you we both said at the same time. And we just laid there for a long time. Well this book is almost over. Would anybody read a book with a cover that looked like this?
