"What brings you here Cleo." Calum murmured, he couldn't sleep and he was getting impatient, so why not make conversation he thought.

"Nothing special, I've been in and out of everywhere. I think I'll settle down for a second before I do something impulsive. " she told him. He furrowed his eyebrows, and asked her what she meant by that.

Cleo thought Calum was a good listener, he didn't speak about himself which was a bit odd but he was interested in what she had to say and not her face. She was fond of that, for people would overlook her as if her beauty was the only thing she would stand for.

"Bad decisions. I've made tons of them. Oh Calum, I have known such miser- and, and I' apologize, ha! I don't know why I'm telling you all of this, I've never been used to having someone care about what I have to say. " she told him, he motioned for her to continue, he felt as if she needed to vent.

"No no it's okay. I don't mind."

She grinned at his words but the train arrived before she could speak once more, she grabbed her bag, and waited for Calum to gather his things. They walked into the empty train together and settled down in a corner, Calum was confused as to why she liked his company but he didn't speak of it.

"Cleo, continue what you were saying." He sighed, he put his head against the wall.

"I think too hard Calum, so hard and I overanalyze everything, and as a result, I create these problems in my head that don't even exist, and I don't know, I've been bouncing off the walls to deal with it, I got kicked out of my house, and for a while I actually thought everything would turn out okay, but I've been running for too long and reality caught up with me. I knew it eventually would but now I'm tired. And I'm willing to give my life one last chance before you know" she clicked her tongue and ran her finger over her neck and mocked as if she was dead.

He laughed and she did as well but he took in everything that she said, he took pleasure in the fact that she poured her heart out to him and then he reacted.

Because Calum always had to react.

"I think you'll manage, I promise"

She felt her chest tighten and sighed.

"I sure hope so"

The conductor shook Calum, he woke up in an instant.

"This is your stop sir. Please evacuate at once"

He looked outside and rubbed his eyes, the sun was just now rising. The sky was a beautiful mix of colors, and he felt as if he made a brilliant choice, that this was a good sign.

He grabbed his luggage, and realized that Cleo wasn't here anymore. Just when he was going to leave he found the conductor, "I'm sorry to bother you but have you come across a young lady with uh- pink hair yes pink hair mister?"

The conductor rolled his eyes, "Yes she left an hour ago, she insisted that I let you sleep a bit, she mentioned that you were exhausted."

Calum thanked the lousy man and left the station. He didn't know what to do now, he walked and walked until he reached a motel.

He threw his things in a room he got for one night and wondered if he would see Cleo again, probably not.
