10 am

I've been chatting with Alex since morn (we both are early risers)!! Gosh, is he sweeeeeeet...

12 noon

FAMILY TIME- Our activity for the afternoon?! Discuss my sister's plans for the future. How interesting (You know sarcasm is banned in North Korea, according to my sister - glad we didn't move there!!) My entire evening is wasted listening to boring plans about which college she is going to go to and what special activities and initiatives she should indulge in - I never got why people do community projects just for adding them on their resume. I mean, isn't the entire point of community service to do it because you feel like and your heart says so?! It's really stupid of colleges and universities to accept students on the basis of their "forced-kindness-of-the-heart" - community projects that are done quarter-heartedly...

One more thing to add - the phase I went through entering middle school?! YES, the "inappropriate" one - I think my sister may have skipped that step. As far as I know, she has never dated a guy, or held his hands, maybe never even talked to one! She grew up a saint and will forever be one... WHAT A PAIN!!!

9 pm

Doing my homework when Melanie texts me:

MELANIE: Hey, how's it going with you and Alex?! Any !@#$% details yet?!
ME: SHUT UP! Of course not - though we did chat quite a bit...
ME: BTW, if there were ever any !@#$% details (hypothetically speaking) I wouldn't open up so easy :D
MELANIE: Could you please help me with the English essay - I didn't really understand it ...
ME: Yeah, sure...
MELANIE: Thanks hon! You're the best friend EVER!! Love you - I'm so lucky to have a friend like you whom I know I can count on... LOVE YA, BABE!!
ME: <3 See ya in school. Bye!!

OMG - Melanie is so sweet!! I mean, she called me BFF, babe and hon (though wasn't that the thing back in second grade?!) in the same sentence (well, technically the same text message, not sentence, but whatever)!! <3 <3
