The Plan

SHAUNS POV:

I rubbed my Hand along my face and sighed. I've been at the office for over 12 hours now. Since Rebecca had told me what happened to her. we've been trying out new ways to keep her and Jordan safe. "we could enter them into witness protection?" someone suggested. "We've discussed that!" I yelled "she's technically not going to testify. I could barley get her to tell me what happened. she doesn't know that I told anyone what happened." I sighed, I had completely lost her trust in me. Suddenly another agent walked into the office "we have good news!" she said. everyone suddenly became quiet."Jack Nesley has officially been confirmed as the Biggest threat nation wide. we can begin a man hunt. we will have him within the hour people!" Everyone began to cheer an scream, but I knew that once he was caught he would stop at nothing to end the lives of the people who helped catch him.

I decided to propose my idea, no matter how crazy it sounded.

"I have an idea." I said. "What if we create something new, like a new witness protection?" people suddenly got quiet "what do you mean?" someone said.

"Listen to me. what if we create a sort of.... town. A place where all of the residents are agents, and we can put other people who need protection in the town. we have FBI agents, psychiatrists, doctors, all the people who would be in any real town! except everyone will be trained to keep its residents safe." I took a deep breath, no one was going to listen to me, It was too strange. "it could work." Carl Davies, the man in charge said. "it would be expensive, and take time to organize but it could work. we might as well test it with Rebecca and Alex."

"Wait!" I said. "that could seriously damage them! knowing that people are ripped away from their families to keep them safe." Everyone thought for a moment. "we don't have to tell them then." agent Finch spoke up. "We tell them only what the need to hear, nothing more, nothing less."

everyone started to agree, adding in points and finally we came up with an idea that would work. we would take a decent plot of land in Maine and create houses, buildings and an underground secure base. after a few more hours, the plans were made and after 3 months we would move in 5 families. all starting with Rebecca and Jordan. we decided that we would tell Rebecca that she was going to live with an agent. we would tell her that the agent (Agent Karen) was going to pretend to be her grandmother. we were going to give her brother and her a new name, and a new life. "she's going to have many psychological problems." I said."i need to be in this new town with them. I have to give her therapy. but she can't remember me, I'm gong to wipe myself from her memory... she already hates me." after we finally finished planning we decided to call this this The Family Protection Program. I thought that name was stupid, but was was I going to do? I closed my eyes, it was time to go home and tell Kyle that we were moving. I knew that I was going to have to go through a lot of changes. so was everyone else that was involved in the FPP. I remember looking back at Rebecca's scared face, trying to protect her brother and I knew that we were doing the right thing. It would hurt Rebecca when she found out the secrets we were keeping, but none the less, it was worth it.
