Dear Tobias, 

I'm sorry for all I did. 
I'm sorry for leaving you. 
I didn't mean to... I didn't know David was there. 
If I knew, I would have kept my damn gun with me. 
If I knew that he would have a gun, I would have been ready. 
I'm sorry. 
I'm sorry that our dreams of having some sort of family won't come true. 
I'm sorry that I broke a promise. 
I'm sorry that I broke the promise of leaving you. 
But I do have to say this, 


I never wanted to leave you. 


I understand you rather have Caleb dead than me. 
But you don't understand, I could never send him to his execution. 
I hope when you read this, from Heaven down to Earth, that you could possibly understand. 

But for now, I will wait. 

I will wait for you to come and see me again. 
But remember this, but forget this as well. 

Remember that I will always love you. That I will always be in your heart and around you forever until you die. But, 

you need to forget me. Forget the love we had until the end. Forget everything about me, as if I never existed. Forget everything I promised, every word I spoken to you. Forget the name Tris Prior. Forget that girl. Forget. 

Because I am no longer Tris Prior, I am yours, I am Beatrice Eaton. That is how I want to see it, but since I am not alive it will never be a reality. 

Forget me. Forget the stiff girl who jumped first.
