Cinderella
We all know the story of the princess who loses her glass slipper at the Prince's royal ball and the Prince finds his princess and they live happily ever after.
But the real story is nothing like Disney's version.
In the Grim fairy tales Cinderella is a story not to forget. It starts with Cinderella's mom dying cause she was very ill. Then her father married another women who became her step mother. So then Cindy or Cinderella became a servant because she was too much of a reminder of her mother to her father. All her belongings were thrown away. Nice clothing was not a option she got raggy clothes and old wooden shoes. Instead of a nice room she slept on the hearth by the ashes. She had to make the fire, cook, clean, gather water. She always had to get up before dawn.
Although the 2 step sister's were beautiful their hearts were dark and cold. They did everything in their power to brake her down.
Besides of having a fairy God mother she prayed under a tree 3 times a day. The tree was of where her mother was buried. This tree granted her wishes when a bird was thrown at her.
The king announced a royal ball. For this ball he wanted his son or the Prince to find himself a bride. Of course the step sisters were very excited. They called Cinderella to make and sew their dresses. She did, but she too wanted to go. She begged and begged her step mother to let her to. Her step mother made fun of her and told her that if she could pick the lentils out of the ashes in less than 2 hours she can go.
2 hours later even though she completed the task she couldn't to because her step mother would be ashamed. Cinderella wept and wept. She than ran out side under her mothers tree to wish for a dress at the ball. When Cindy went to the ball with a beautiful golden dress and golden slippers. No one ever imagined that it was Cinderella . For Cinderella she could only have the dress and slippers until the ball was over. Once it was done the Prince couldn't take his eyes of her beauty. Unfortunately Cinderella left one of her slippers there at the ball. When the Prince found it he announced that whoever fits in this slipper would be his new bride. The announcement spread like wild fire. Cindy's step sister's were happy to hear this because they would have a chance of being rich and being married to the Prince.
As soon as the Prince arrived at Cindy's home the step sisters were first to try on the slipper, but one of the step sister big toe couldn't fit.
The solution was for her to cut off her big toe so it would fit. She did that and the Prince noticed blood gushing out of her feet.
While the other step sister her heel was too big her solution was to cut off a piece of her heel. The Prince also noticed her heel bleeding.
The Prince insisted on Cinderella trying on the slipper and it fit perfectly. The Prince recognized the beautiful girl he danced with.
A ceromony was planned and they got married
As for the step sisters and step mother their eyes were pecked out by birds. And punished with being blind for the rest of their lives.
