Pocahontas
In the Disney movie Pocahontas lives in Jamestown and falls in love with John Smith. They marry and have a kid. Live a good life.
In the real story Pocahontas name wasn't her name only a nickname. Her real name was Amonute or for a more private name Matoaka.
She then was captured by the English. Held for ransom. While being held She was raped while being married to John Rulfe and being pregnant with his child. Completely changed her religion from being native to being christan. She took the name Rebecca. She died at the age of 22. Kocoum was murdered at the same time Pocahontas was abducted. (A/N kocoum was a warrior and was supposed to marry Pocahontas and become next chief).
