They will break you down,
But you just break a smile in return.
They will make you look small,
But you just enjoy the view from down here.
They will try to rip you through,
But you still be as kind as you can.
Cause its never between you and them,
Its between you and God.
ENOUGH, now:
Do everything that takes to earn yourself some happiness.
Unless and until it doesn't hurt someone else its not a mess!
I've tried being helpful,
Then I've experienced being consumed.
That feel when you offer a hand for help,
And you are left drained.
Then because of you, they reach their happy place.
And you stand here- alone, helpless.
So, its okay to be selfish sometimes.
In fact, it is necessary to be selfish sometimes.
