Poem-53: Sculptures

An eye for an eye,
Can make the whole world blind.

I know that it is true,
But we all be the same fools.

And if I take a step back now,
I know you will be rising your roar.

I don't want you to question my strenghths,
Therefore to prove you wrong, I will take the same steps.

At the end, we may burn into ashes,
But even after losing everything, my soul will feel satisfied.

But may be one day we will realise,
What we have really earned and how much is lost.

These questions may drill our souls,
And then we will stand like those sculptures.

With an outer beauty capturing the finest eyes,
But from inside, we will still remain the stone bodies burnt out in false pride.
