Retaliated: Chapter 23
~August P.O.V.~
"Mornin' Poontang." I said as I picked up her bowl and carried it downstairs with me. "Missed you while I was in Mexico, I wish I had brought you 'cause it was a lot of fun." I continued to say as I set her bowl down on the counter in front of the window so she could see the outside world while she ate her breakfast.
This was a first, I wasn't hungry for breakfast. I guess I could start my day a little early, I was already showered and dressed, grabbing my keys and heading out the door. Maybe I wasn't hungry because of the nerves I had built up in my right now. I'm not one to be nervous about a damn thing because I'm too chill like that, hell even in gang wars I'm not the slightest bit nervous but when it came to my Pear, oh boy. I get a little scared when it comes to wakin' her up because she doesn't like being bothered when she's asleep.
"She gonna straight up murder my ass." I said to myself as I was making the drive to her parents place. "Like I'm gonna cease to exist after this one." I kept her ass up till about five and it's currently nine... She gonna really let my ass have it. When I die, I'm donating my body to Varo in the name of his science so he wins there. I should have stopped by to get some flowers so she wouldn't have been too mad at me.
Pullin' up to their place, neither of her parents cars were in the driveway like usual. Coast was clear, it ain't like they don't like me but I don't feel like talkin' to her Dad about the Raiders today. Either way, I double checked to make sure all the buttons on my shirt were evenly buttoned, without a crease and that my chain was nicely tucked under my collar. I see why niggas like T-Money and Breezy cocky as fuck, I mean I looked pretty damn good, Pear can't be mad at me when she sees her best friend lookin' like he own the damn world.
Since I know their side door is always unlocked, I wasn't gonna bother with knocking or ringing the door bell to the front door. I just let myself in through the gate and then right into house, closing the door behind me. This isn't the first time I've gone through this way. Wandering around to the stairs, I found myself outside her room and carefully opened the door. She was in her bed, blankets a hot mess and her hair all over the damn place but there my little Pear was sleeping peacefully.
Walking up to her bedside, I got down on one knee and pushed her hair out of her face. She must really be into that good sleep because not even touching her was enough to scare her awake.
"Paris." I whispered into her ear. "Paris wake up, you got school today." I said which got her to let out an annoyed groan. "I know, but the sooner you get up the sooner you get back home to go to sleep."
"Fine Dad, I'm up." She said with a big ass yawn.
"Ooh, we moved from August to Dad? Damn, Tilly Beans rubbing off on you." I said with some laughter and she finally opened her eyes, looking up at me confused. "Mornin' Paris, get up I'm lonely."
"Nigga get out of the house, God damn. It's too early for your shit and get your hand off of me." She said as she sat up, giving a hard rub of her eyes making her smear whatever leftover makeup she had on from yesterday.
"You always call me a coon yet look who's lookin' like one now." I teased and she grabbed a small pillow, hitting me upside the head as hard as she could. "Mean ass coon too, God."
"You're real funny." She said mean mugging me with her cute face. "Get up and get out so I can get dressed." I shook my head. "Hell you mean no? Get up and out, I'm not changin' with your overly dressed up ass in here. I'm tired as fuck and you bothered me, consider me to be the ultimate bitch to you." She said trying to keep a straight face but I poked her stomach and out came the laughs that she tried to hold in. "Nigga. Why are you even over here this early?" She asked as she got off the bed, trying to pull her shirt down to cover her bare ass as she left the room to go to the bathroom.
