Retaliated: Chapter 34
~Tilly Beans P.O.V.~
I was once again at the airport, however this time instead of waiting for my baby beans to arrive, I was the one making the big arrival. I didn't like flying on the plane because there was no leg room and the nigga next to me was breathing so heavily I thought he was gonna die of exhaustion by the middle of the flight. At least I was by the window but there wasn't much to see and I was generally just really bored.
Thankfully I've since landed and am currently looking for King. My luggage rolling behind me as I scanned around from face to face but there was no King or baby beans that stood out. If anything I probably looked so out of place and lost... I'll just hang out by the bar till I see them. That way I can chat with the bartender and get some water or something because my throat is dry as the damn desert.
I wanna say about ten minutes had passed by as I was sitting here but finally I saw the familiar face of King and of course the baby beans! Aweee my little babies were holding each other's hands as they followed along behind King. Hopping off the stool and grabbing the two rolling suitcases, King was quick to catch sight of me. Redirecting the beans over in my direction.
"How was your flight?" He asked when he was within hearing range. A smile on his face like every other time when I would meet him at this airport all those years ago but this time I didn't have the same smile back for him. Instead just a small smile I pretty much pulled out my ass and stuck to my face so he wouldn't have an attitude with me.
"Too long for my liking but I got here safe and that's all that matters." I said briefly. "Hi babies." I said with all the more excitement drenched in my voice, reaching down to give them a big hug and many kisses. "I missed you two so much, we're going to have so much fun while I'm here." King had grabbed the luggage for me- I could have taken it myself but fine, do as you please. You do that anyways so don't let me try to stop you.

Oddly enough, the day had gone by so fast. I mean so fast I don't even really remember paying attention to what we had done. Kind of creepy if you asked me but I was sitting here on the couch downstairs while King was cleaning up the kitchen. The kids were already in their rooms- probably not asleep since I've already caught them twice before trying to sneak back down the stairs so I'd end up playfully chasing them back to their room. Their screams and laughter filled the house, making me laugh but they'd get back into their rooms and close the door so fast.
"They're gonna keep coming down till their too tired to open the door." King said from the kitchen as he dried off his hands with one of the hand towels. "Thank you for coming out to visit by the way."
"I'm already prepared for them to come back down." As I was, sitting here facing the stairs and ready to pounce off to fly up them stairs to catch them and tickle them as I carry them back to their beds. "Not a problem for me to come out, I want to see them more often to be honest. I'm missing out on too much."
"I agree you are and I know it makes them upset when they ask where you are and I have to say she's not here right now but will be soon."
"So that's why I was thinking we could do a trade off. Until they start school, I could have them for a couple weeks and then you have them for a couple weeks. Only thing is that's a lot of traveling on their end. Unless I just keep flying out here till they get older and then I was thinking they could live with me and the rest of the family during the school year and you can come out to visit whenever but then you'd get them for summer." I offered just off the top of my head with a shrug.
"Hold up, why would you get them for the school year? Who said they were gonna be going to school in Oakland?" He asked back a little too sternly for my liking. Like damn nigga, slow up and check yourself.
