Retaliated: Chapter 32

~Trey P.O.V.~

Three long weeks... three weeks have passed by and these were the oddest weeks. I'm usually an outgoing nigga, I like socializing and chilling with others but these were three weeks that I stayed only in the house. Well grocery store trips were made once or twice but other than that, I just stayed inside. Didn't bother to get the newspaper so they're all piled up at the end of my driveway.

I'd call Breezy to check up on him and get a laugh so I wasn't completely isolated but this time in the house I spent in a lot of thought. From Honey to IRG and every other topic that was associated with me in between. I have these envisioned dreams that are my goals so of course I want to achieve them but I guess I'm going about it all in the wrong way because all my attempts have landed me in this current position on my couch.

In my head I wanna run IRG just like Rommel did. I want that reputation of being untouchable and feared in the streets, I just look up to Rommel so much. He went from absolutely nothing to his name, tragedy, abuse, suffering and constant failure to starting this territory drug affiliated gang that would leave these streets running with blood from rival gangs... to me that's just amazing. He was someone who was quick to think of what to do in any situation and had a drive for success... that's all I want. Plus he got a female who was down for him through it all- I blame myself for my failed relationships except for Jazlyn and Honey because they cheated on me but the others I accept as my fault.

In terms of relationships I just don't want 'em anymore. Trina and I vibed real good when we were invested in each other but I already know she won't take me back as anything other than a friend so I blew it with a great woman. So for a while I'm just gonna do me and keep to myself, no relationships and no feelings because it's just too much for me right now. After getting as close as I did with Honey just to have her taken away, it still fucks with me in not a good way.

Getting up off the couch, I gave my back a good stretch that seemed to loosen everything up. Since I mentioned the newspapers I should probably clean them all up. It would give me something to do other than sit around like I'd been doing for the past few weeks. Heading out through the front door, I left it open and the screen door closed behind me. It was nice out, not too hot and not too cold with a breeze that rolled through subtly. Definitely spring-kind of weather without the showers but I'm gonna need it to be summer for the heat so I can chill out in the pool all day.

Since my garbage bin was left out on the curb, I just started picking up the papers and tossing them into the bin. I don't even know why I still get the paper, I could have sworn I cut this off like years ago so why is there a pile of them currently on my drive way?

"Well look what finally decided to come out from wherever cave it's decided to hide in." I said to Isabella when her car pulled up to my curb. "Where the hell you been? Your ass basically jetted off somewhere after the night we got Drake." She cut the engine to her car and got out, pulling her blonde curls up into a messy bun that sat on her head.

"I was down in Compton for a bit." She said with ease. "Need help with the newspapers?"

"Sure and why in Compton? I've never heard of your ass taking an interest in anywhere down in So Cal." Bending down to grab three or four newspapers, she tossed them into the bin like I did. She didn't seem out of the ordinary, if anything she was much happier than when she left. Turning back around to grab some more, her shirt was hanging off her right shoulder and I noticed a new tattoo, the area still red and irritated though not as bad as if she had just got it done earlier today but maybe a few days ago and least. "And a new tattoo? What happened to you?"
