The trip to report to the general was quick and easy. I had to just inform him about what happen before heading off to meet Kanda and Allen. We were suppose to report back to Headquarters as soon as possible. While we were heading off to get there, I explained to them about what I heard. Hopefully it wasn't something too bad. Yet it was a bad thing. Allen had heard the same thing the other day. It didn't say directly to him about the breath of swords but it did mention about it.

"What..does it mean?" I asked slowly, still thinking about the voice. Where can it come from?

"I am not sure but  we do know it came from the same person," Kanda replied. He was looking out in the distance, thinking. "Breath of swords? Interesting name to give someone...."

"Or two..." Allen said.  I turned my gaze upon him before looking at Kanda. Besides thinking about  what the  voice had said, Kanda was another thought to think about.  Had he changed over the past few weeks since I last seen him? Or  was he just acting this up because my deadline is in a few weeks?

I turned my gaze away from him, face as hard as stone. I am guessing he was just acting. After all with the bond between us, it wouldn't change his feelings towards me. Or would it? Sometimes people change and he might have changed. I tried to remember what he said earilier about watching me when I wasn't looking. Of course, he might be doing a plan to get rid of me if the Illness doesn't take me. Then why did he blush? This was getting a bit more confusing about him. No! I can't wrap my head around  Kanda at all.  I dislike him, he dislike me. We're not going to destroy that bond over something as silly as love.

"What are you laughing about, Hisaye?" Kanda asked, breaking my thoughts. I blinked, realizing I was  laughing. Oh god, I hate how that happens.

"Just a thought...." I answered with hint of angry in it. I wish I could kick myself right now for laughing of  a silly thought.

"You know you need to laugh and smile more. It looks great on you when you do so."

I raised one eyebrow up, looking up at him. Really, what happen to him? He wasn't his cold self anymore. It was like he was hinting me that he actually has a crush on me. Does he? I leaned forward, trying to study his face. His face was cold and calm. No hint of crushing on me passed over. I glanced away again.

"Too bad I can't.... Since my deadline is in a few weeks," I said, shrugging my shoulders. The wind slowly picked up, blowing my hair into my face. I move dit out my face, hating the wind now.  Kanda suddenly stopped, pressing his arm in front of me and Allen.  We both stopped, wondering what's going on. Kanda reached over his shoulder to take out his sword, putting it in front of him. His eyes were looking forward, his eyebrows bending forward. I followed his gaze, noticing ahead of something strange.

     "Akuma...." Kanda whispered.

"Oh boy," I whispered back.  They keep coming one after another. Not letting us have a break for once. I wasn't in the mood to fight anymore since my left arm was still fresh from the last battle. Due to the Illness, it  could open up again and bleed out. This would be a problem since I can't use much of my strength onto them.

"Hisaye you should stay back and let us handle it," Allen  said softly, lowering his voice. I shook my head, glaring at him.

"No... I can't let you two fight while I stand... back.....  I don't need protection..."

"You do now. You can't fight with your left arm and plus using your strength will leave you die sooner than later, So please stay back."

"Gotta trust him on this," Kanda said. He looked at me. I finally let out a sigh and nodded. Using my right hand, I gesture them to go ahead. They went ahead as Allen's arm transformed into a cannon. I watched them go, notcing Kanda's sneak glance in my direction. I raised my index finger, shaking it back and forth. It was meant to tell him, not to worry about me. He turned away, understanding my message.
