Months Later

I had been planning this for awhile feeling now. I hadn't told Shadow yet. I was walking to the cell to see him right now. I saw the cell had been opened. I ran over to the cell to see Zilver and Zcourge 'interrogating' him. "What the hell did I say!?" they turned around. "Maria what are you planning?" "what I'm doing is none of your business" I crossed my arms. "It does if your getting too close to this prisoner" "you don't even know what 'close' is" I glared at them. "I would step away now" I threatened them. "No, not until we get answers" Zcourge stepped closer to me. I backed up and punched him, "Leave now or suffer the consequences!" i shouted and pulled out my taser, set it to high, and pointed it at Zilver. "Maria, what are you doing?" Shadow asked me as he tried to get away from Zilver. "Have you gone crazy?!" Zcourge yelled and got back to his feet. "1!" "Maria, what are you doing he should be killed" "2!" "Put the taser down Maria" "she probably doesn't even have the guts to shoot it" I shot him, as he fell to the ground and Zilver went to his side, I grabbed Shadow and bolted. "Maria, what are you doing?!" "I'm getting you out of here!" I swiftly turned the corner. There were already guards everywhere, 'shit' I pulled various stunts and maneuvers to evade their sight. They cornered me, "PUT THE WEAPON AWAY AND STEP AWAY FROM THE PRISONER!" I stood there contemplating what to do. I quickly shoved Shadow out of the snipers shooting range and pulled out my gun and shot at the guards. "I'd rather die!" "that you will!" one of the second in commands came up to me and knocked the gun out of my hand. He tried to shoot me but I high kicked the gun out of his hand and engaged in hand in hand combat. "Just give up Maria, you'll never make it" "why should I listen to you?" I swiftly dodged his attacks to my face but got hit a couple of times in the stomach. "There are millions of guards waiting every turn and even if you do make it out there is a brigade outside ready to kill anyone who steps out" I tried to punch him in the face but he dodged. "Just face it, no ones ever broken out" I grabbed out my knife from the holster on my leg and stabbed him in the gut. "Let us be the first" he went wide eyed and I pulled the knife from his body and kicked him down. "Shadow lets go!" I ran over and grabbed his arm. "Were not gonna make it" "we will!" I ran outside as machine guns were fired. I ducked behind a cement wall and pulled Shadow down with me. "GIVE UP NOW MARIA!" "YOU CAN'T STOP ME!" I started shooting them as I ran across the yard and dodged behind another wall. "Please Maria, I don't want you to die" Shadow looked at me pleading. "It's too late to turn back now" I was terrified. My hands were shaking with the gun in my hand. "Look, we can just end this now" he grabbed the gun from my hand. I pulled it back, "Maria-" "what are you thinking? we can't romeo and Juliette this" I popped a couple of rounds. "Come on, I thought you were a tough guy. I thought you could take on all these guys" he grabbed the gun from me without any questions. He hopped over the barricade and starting shooting the guards. He flipped around and dodged all the their bullets. All I could do was stare, it was amazing. He dropped in front of one of the guards and elbowed him and grabbed his machine gun and ruthlessly shot at them. I noticed when he was shooting he wasn't killing them, only injuring them. He shot out all their tires and sub machine guns. He rolled and hopped over the wall and landed next to me. He reloaded the gun and handed it back to me. "Ready?" I nodded my head still amazed at what happened. "Go!" we ran out and down the side of the island the prison was on. We tumbled into the water, "swim for the docks" and that's exactly what we did. He told me to board one of the boats, as I got on he untied the boat. He shot at the armed cars trying to hold them off, "hurry go!" I started the boat. I didn't move the boat, "don't think I'm leaving. I will stay here and get killed if that means staying with you" He hopped on the boat, "your so stubborn" I laughed and revved up the engine. We took off. There were helicopters and everything, "NO MORE WARNINGS, BOYS SHOOT TO KILL" I gulped. He put his hand on mine, "it's ok" We tried to loose them, but it was hard. "What do we do?" I turned to him. "Distract" he went to the other side of the boat and grabbed a blow up boat. "Take a right" I did so as he grabbed a couple more things. He put a rope over the steering wheel making it turn right. "What are you doing?" just then a bright spotlight shone over us and I heard a gunshot. I fell to the ground feeling this severe pain in my side. Shadow grabbed me and jumped off the boat, the officers and guards didn't notice because they were still going after the boat. I heard the sirens and choppers and squeezed my eyes shut, my head hurt. "Maria, your gonna be okay, don't worry" he wrapped a piece of cloth around my stomach. I looked down and saw the amount of blood on my shirt, ' I've been shot'
