A Stranger Love

Part 6

My head was pounding. I fluttered my eyes open, "S-shadow?" I put my hand out. I felt a hand grab it and sit down next to me. "Don't worry, your safe" he kissed my forehead. "I love you" I faintly said, "I know" he laid his down. I smiled, I kissed the top of his head. I looked up at the ceiling and my started to close slowly till they were closed. I fell asleep thinking of our new life together.

Years Later

Sirens went off at the new Hamsun bank. Cop radios, "we got a 211 here" Boom. We ran out of the bank and made our great escape. "Woo!" I shouted as he drove out of there. "I was worried there for a second" I said as we were out of harms way (the cops). "You know I wouldn't let anything happen to you, I will protect you till I die" "and I the same" I smiled and kissed his cheek. We had got out of the country and started to be professional thieves. This is the perfect life, but there was something missing. I was jerked forward, he had slammed on the brakes. "What the-" I looked up over the dashboard and saw a blockade of police cars. "I thought we lost them" "so did I" he reversed. Pulled a 180 and slammed on the brakes going 80 mph. A police car pulled out in front of us and we collided. I got knocked out.

I woke up on a cold hard prison bed. Went from running a prison to being in one. 'People change' those words played in my head for a brief moment along with old memories. I sighed. "Ah, so your awake" a male in an officer uniform, brown hair, and green eyes. I yawned, "yup" "You look harmless to be robbing a bank" I looked at my surroundings. 'Oh yeah, forgot I was in prison' "I'm capable of anything, don't judge a book by its cover" I leaned back against the wall. "I guess so" he looked at me. I was wearing a blue dress that went above my knees. It had elbow length sleeves and a low top. "That's what you wear to rob a bank?" "yeah, what of it?" "it doesn't stop you from doing things?" I walked up to the bars. "No" I put my face a bit through the bars. "If you were wondering your 'friend' is in the other cell" "had a little resistance from him?" he nodded his head. I laughed. I put my hands outside the bars, "y'know, you look cute" his face flushed red. "Um-" he was close enough for me to grab him. I grabbed his tie and pulled him to me. I kissed him. I let go and he backed up and walked away. "What the hell was that?" I turned my head to see Shadow in another cell. "Don't worry baby, I still love you" I put up my hand with the keys on my finger swinging it around. He chuckled and I laughed. We broke out like it was nothing, we got out of the country too. Again. I yawned and leaned my head on his shoulder. "Tired?" "yea..." I yawned again and closed my eyes. We arrived at a safe place, where the cops can't find us, and fell asleep. In the morning I woke up and Shadow was standing up looking over at the sunrise. "Good morning" I yawn. "Morning" he got back into the car. "Hungry?" "yea" we drove off and stopped at a fast food. We drove to a hotel and I stayed in the car as he got us a room. We went in there and relaxed on the bed. "I'ma go out and buy some stuff" I walked out with my purse and went to a corner store. I grabbed some chips, drinks and some other snacks. I went up to the teller, it was a lady so I decided to ask her something. "Um, can I ask you a medical question. Nothing serious, but I've been having like cramps and I've been throwing up in the morning and really emotional. Is there something wrong with me?" The teller lady looked at me and then went and got something. "Try this, your total is 3.49" I noticed she didn't charge me for it. I payed and walked out and looked at the thing she gave me. 'Could this be?' I went in to the apartment, dropped the bag on the bed and went to the bathroom. 'Could It actually be?' I looked at the thing and waited for it to do its thing. "What?" "Hey Maria are you okay?" I walked out. My face was pale, like I'd seen a ghost. "I-i'm-" "what" "I can't believe it..." "what is it?" "I'm pregnant"
