Nothing can ever be completely perfect. That's something I've found over the past couple of months. No matter how lovely things become, there's always something wrong whether it's little or big.

I watched the trees pass by in a blur as I laid my throbbing head against the cold surface, Austin's car window. "Ali," Austin spoke up. I raised my head, looking at him with questioning eyes. "Are you okay?"

I chuckled nervously, "Yeah, fine. Just distracted. That's all." I turned my head quickly away from him, knowing he'd be able to tell if I was lying to him.

He coughed. "Y-you don't, uh, regret last night, do you?" He sounded nervous. As if he was expecting me to say it wasn't what I wanted or it was just a spur of the moment thing. He was wrong.

"Of course not, Austin," I muttered, turning towards him with serious eyes. He took my right hand into his, pulling it up to his lips and placing a soft kiss on my palm. "I love you."

"Well, in that case," He began, his voice turning amiable and sarcastic in a way, "Remember when I said I wanted to meet your parents?" I nodded. "Well, I still want to meet them. Tonight, we're all having dinner at your house and I'm going to make sure your parents approve of me." He grinned cheekily.

I giggled, "That might not be the best idea."

"Yeah, well, guess what!"

"What?" I asked, smirking.

"I don't care!" He exclaimed, smiling wildly.

"Fine, I guess you can have dinner with us. I'm just warning you though; they're insane and they don't exactly enjoy eachother's presence," I informed him.

"Can't be much worse than my parents," He sighed. I reached over, kissing his cheek. As I retreated back to my original position, he watched me with an expression that I couldn't read.

"What?" I asked.

"How did I get so lucky?" He asked mindlessly before turning away and watching the road. I blushed, sinking down into my seat.

-Alex's POV-

I attempted to rub the sleep out of my eyes as I sat up on my living room couch. Endless knocking on my front door had been the source of the end of my nap. I groaned and stood up, streching my arms above my head. I trudged towards the door and opened it lazily. "Hello?" I yawned.

"Hey, Alex," Paytonn greeted me, smiling. I raised my eye brows at the person standing behind her; Tucker. "Uh, can we talk?" She asked.

I nodded, too restless to respond. Let's just say I haven't gotten too much sleep lately. I motioned for them to come in, which they did, and we all traveled across the room and took seats on the various chairs around the room. "So what's up?" I asked. "Wait, before you answer, Tucker, why are you here?"

Tucker opened his mouth to speak but Payton stole the words out of his mouth. "Well, that's what we wanted to talk to you about." I furrowed my eye brows. "Tucker and I are dating," Payton elaborated.

"Dating?" I repeated and they nodded in sync. I stood up from my chair, throwing my hands in the air. "Dating!? Dating!? You two!?" They cowered back a bit but they obviously saw this coming.

Payton stood up, trying to keep her ground. She coughed, "And Tucker decided he's willing to help with the baby." Tucker nodded nervously.

I stood there, stunned. "Wait..." I began, "Payton, you made me ruin the best thing in my life and for something that might not even concern me anymore! And Tucker, how could you do this me? That's my baby and-"
