It Can't Be Him

Chapter 5

Alexis

I peak out of the bathroom to make sure that Luca is gone and then come out in a towel. The door opens and I look up and see a girl around my age holding a hamper of clothes.

She looks at me and groans "I told Luca he has to wait for his mate! Get your clothes and get your slut ass out of here!" She snaps venom lacing her voice.

I feel a sudden anger at what she just said. There has been other girls in that bed?! And a growl escapes my lips. Just then Luca walks into the room and we both glare at him for completely different reasons.

"You have had other girls?!" and "How many times do I have to tell you ta wait for your mate!" Me and the girl growl at the same time.

Luca looks at me first with a look of guilt on his face.

"Uhhm Alexis, this is Mackenzie my sister. Mac, this is Alexis my mate."

"Not for long." I snap and glare at him harder

She gasps before she runs and hugs me "I am sooooo sorry I didn't know you were Luca's actual mate!"

"Yeah we just found out after he attacked and sedated me." I say not taking my eyes off of Luca

"Alexis." he says clearly guilty.

"Okay well, I'm just gonna goooo. It was nice meeting you Alexis." and she slips out of the room awkwardly.

"I can explain." Luca says.

"What? That you have taken countless other girls! Just get me some clothes and a room to stay in!" I almost scream.

Luca sighs and then tells me that I can stay with Mackenzie and that she should have clothes.

After showing Alexis to Macs room I go back to mine and fall onto the bed.

Go to our mate and comfort her! Raul my wolf howls but I just block him out.

I should have listened to Mac when she told me to wait I just couldn't help it. Girls are all over me.

I was gonna ask if Alexis wanted to join the pack but that was ruined by this incident.

Alexis

After Mackenzie welcomed me into her room and gave me some clothes to change into we sat down on her bed.

"He isn't that bad, Luca," Mac says.

"Yeah well." I respond.

"He just has a weakness for... well, you know."

I roll my eyes "Well there isn't a chance we are going to work out any way. He is probably just going to reject me."

"Don't say that. Plus I see the way he looks at you he definitely isn't going to reject you."

"Is there anywhere we can get breakfast?" I ask suddenly realizing how hungry I am. Mac smiles and takes my hand leading me out the door.

We go down stairs and she leads me down to the kitchen. She opens the fridge and pantry and gets a bunch of stuff and starts making pancake batter. I never really learned how to cook real food in a real kitchen so I was kinda lost just sitting there watching her.

After a little bit she slides a plate of pancakes in front of me. "Thanks," I smile at her.

"Of course." She responds gleefully. I eat quickly enjoying them a lot.

"Damn, you can cook. These are good!" I tell her.

"Well you learn quickly when you're the Luna's daughter." She laughs. "I would offer to take you outside but the weather sucks."

"We should have a movie day!" I shriek.

"Yassss!"

Mac leads me downstairs into a a movie room with a huge screen and reclining chairs.

"Littt!" I say and she laughs. We settle ourselves in picking out all the Fast and Furious movies. Nobody bothers us all day but we take breaks to get lunch and dinner.

Finally after the last movie we are both really tired. We go up to Mac's room slip into pajamas and fall asleep.
