Alexis
We were sprinting through the woods after disrupting the shallow moon pack.
I could hear the howls of the enforcers from the pack far behind us.
Alex lets shift here I hear John mindlink me. We aren't in a pack so we don't have an official link but we are family so we can communicate.
We shift and find clothes that we stashed earlier.
"That was fun." Laughs Aixa.
Jackson rolls his eyes "Yeah we were nearly killed today, Hooray!"
"Stop being so dramatic!"
"We know you loved it" I added laughing.
John comes out from behind a tree and sits down next to Aixa pulling her onto his lap and kissing her.
"Oh, cut it out you two are nasty!" complains Jackson. He is fifteen and the youngest in the gang always joking around and never serious. But he is like a little brother to me. John is my older brother, but only by nine months, he is nineteen. Aixa is John's girlfriend. I know! You are going to say they should wait for their mates but they were both rejected because they were rouges. That's why I never want a mate.
Despite the fact that mates are meant for each other arrogant pack members always seem to think that they have to have status. Most of the time that a rogue finds their mate they are played with and then just tossed aside forgotten.
I am eighteen and love stirring up trouble in packs. I am way faster and smaller than a normal wolf and it comes handy in fighting and getting away from pissed Enforcers. But there's one pack that I hate most.
When I was twelve there use to be a whole bunch of rouges that lived together on the outskirts of the Red Moon pack territory. It was around a certain tree that always gave hope to everybody. But one day when we were praying to the moon-goddess the Alpha of the Red Moon pack and a ton of pack warriors attacked us.
People screamed and shifted and ran but I was a hopeless little kid not knowing what was going on. There was another kid about two years older than me standing at the side lines. And as I was crying and looking around I caught his green eyes and it was like looking into a green clear endless ocean.
But the Alpha called to him and I looked over and saw my mother in his clutches and my dad on top of him until the boy ran and shifted attacking my dad and ripping his throat out.
Something happened inside me and I exploded Instantly my body started changing into a wolf for the first time. I ran and ran until I found my brother and Aixa. I shifted and they were wowed that It was me. We later found Jackson alone only nine years old and since we have been our own pack. Training and hunting together.
I would never forget seeing my father's blood being splattered across the tree of hope. And never forget those deep, cruel eyes that belonged to his killer.
