Chapter Seven: The Red Dragon Emperor - Prologue

It has been a while since the announcement for the wedding between House Gremory and Phoenix. However, Riser offered Rias and her servants to play a game. If Rias wins, she can get out of the marriage. If not, she has to go through with it.

I'm personally glad we have trained earlier in the month, otherwise I would be toast. But, now is not the time for thinking.

"How is everyone holding up?" Rias asked. We were on a train headed to the underworld, it was surprisingly huge and glorious. Everyone replied with a simple answer, but I stayed quiet. Issei noticed my silence and sit next to me, "Hey, Tokuda, you alright?" Well... Heh. "Yeah, I'm alright.." I lied. I think he could tell because what he did next shocked me, "I know you're lying to me. Now come on, what's going on?" I couldn't back out now, so I might as well tell the truth. "Well..." I began, "I have been having dreams, no...nightmares," Everyone turned to look at me as I told the story.

"Every night, I have the same nightmare over and over...", I was staring at the ground, my hair creating an overcast shadow over my face. "Every night, I see all of you die in that dream, because of me... I...couldn't control myself. I had the need and thirst for vengeance..."

I suddenly felt everyone hug me. "We will be fine, Tokuda," began Rias, "don't you worry. Okay? You are one of my dear servants". The train suddenly stopped at our destination, the Gremory Household. IT WAS HUGE!

Well, it's all or nothing now. The fate of Rias's happiness depends on us. But first, we have to get ready and find a strategy. I wonder what ours will be...

"I'm ready to kick some serious ass!", of course, it was Issei. Kiba, Akeno, and Koneko were off doing their own things while we are here. Rias is with her brother, Sirzechs, aka Lucifer. So it's just myself, Asia, and Issei here in our room we were given.

"So Issei...", I began, "what's it like being the Red Dragon Emperor?" I asked him this because I want to learn about my own Longinus class Sacred Gear. In my dreams, I learned its name, the Amethyst Dragon Emperor... its power and knowledge had been lost for countless millennia. So no one knows anything about it. But, the dragon inside, is slowly revealing itself to me, along with its power.

To make it short, my Sacred Gear has the ability to increase my power the more I fight. I cannot control the amount, though. It also has a weak healing factor that strengthens over time. So far, I can only summon the gauntlet, kinda like Issei. I wonder how far I can take this power.

The event was about to begin, the battleground was a simulation of Kuoh Academy, the most strategic location being the gymnasium. We are all gathered in our club room, going over strategies and other details. I was to be paired up with Asia for this battle, as everyone else had other jobs to do. My job was to protect Asia, especially when she was healing someone. If we lose our bishop, it might be game over. After the briefing, the event was about to begin. Everyone took up positions, and the battle was underway...
