Chapter Four: Some R&R

I fell asleep on the couch almost immediately after getting Koneko acquainted with everything. Suddenly I heard a voice in my dreams. 'You're stronger than you think.' I must've blacked out as I woke up at 10AM the next day, luckily it was a weekend. I looked around and saw Koneko cooking breakfast. 'She can cook...?' I thought. She noticed I was up as she brought the breakfast to me. It looked amazing. "Wow...this looks so good.." I said, making her blush with an upset look on her face. "Just eat already".

  I took her up on her offer and guzzled the food down, my mistake since I started choking. Koneko saw this and used the old fashioned Heimlich maneuver. I felt her small breasts poke into my back as she administered the rescue. When I coughed the piece of food out and caught my breath, she asked me, "Are you okay?" Well, considering she was pressing herself against me, I felt weird. Like, a strange weird that I've never felt before. No way I'd tell her that, she'd kick my ass. "Y-Yeah, I guess your cooking was so good I choked on it..." I said this under my breath, but she heard it somehow. "T-Thanks..." She blushed. I turned around and hugged her, surprising her completely. "No, thank you for saving me.." She stood frozen for a few seconds, but eventually hugged me back. A few seconds later, I pulled away. She was blushing, but tried to hide it. "I'm going to take a nap", I said, yawning. I closed my eyes and started drifting off when I felt something on me. I opened my eyes to see Koneko laying on me. I blushed profusely as she stared at me. "You know, you're sweet. You seem like someone who wouldn't harm anything...but you got stuck with a terrible fate..." She frowned. "Hey... Don't get sad on me... You're strong, way stronger than me. Please, don't worry about me. I'll try my best". She teared up and closed her eyes, scooting closer to me, placing her head on my shoulder.

   What is this feeling? I feel warm inside, and a bit excited too. But...why? I have no experience with emotion.
