Chiyo breathed in deeply, her olive skin gleaming with sweat as she aimed her LMG at the head of a zombie that shuffled nearby, walking towards half of the members of the gang as the battled against other zombies. She looked through the scope and aimed at the nearest zombies head. She turned off the safety, made sure the zombie was still in sight and pulled the trigger. The zombie fell to the floor and Chiyo cheered. The man next to her hushed her and aimed his sniper gun, taking the zombies out quickly. Chiyo turned back to her own sniper and continued to kill the undead. As she took down zombie by zombie, the memory of a few hours ealier flashed through her mind.
"I'm glad to see you," Chiyo said as the man pulled his gas mask back on.
"It's good to see you too, Chiyo," the man said and gestured at the car. "We had the same idea. You see, this place is illegal and we were planning to raid it and then find Bea. Do you know where she it."
"Sadly, I don't." Chiyo sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. "We were together but I was drugged and fell asleep, but then when I woke, she was gone."
The man before her shook his head and asked her if she knew how to use her weapon. Chiyo didn't. Even though she couldn't see his face, Chiyo knew he was smirking.
"Let me teach you then."And that's what brought her to where she is now. Shooting zombies with no real reason other than 'cleaning the streets' as the man next her so kindly put it. Chiyo stopped again as she felt her heart rate beating faster. The man next to her was completely fouced on the task at hand and she knew she was meant to be too but she couldn't help it.
"I think it's really nice," Chiyo said aloud as she turned back to killing the zombies. "That you came all the way here to see her."
"All in a day's work for me," he said gruffly, shooting the last zombie before he stood up. "After all, I wouldn't be Mr. Perfect if I couldn't see my girl and had to support her from a distance."
"And by distance you mean half way around the world," Chiyo got up from ground and slung her weapon on her shoulder, waving to the masked men below. "I hope she's okay..."
"I will kill anyone - or anything - who touchs her."
"You are Mr. Perfect."
The man laughed as they went over to the door on the roof. Chiyo grinned as she wiped sweat away from her forehead. Together, they made their way downstairs and, having already secured the building, met the rest of the group on the first floor.
"That was totally amazing, mate!" Cried one of the men, Castiel, from behind his gas mask. Chiyo knew from who was who because of their hair colour and accents.
"Castiel, nice work with the bat today." Their leader addressed the Australian, who cheered which brought a smile to Chiyo's face. Out of all of them, Castiel had the strongest Australian accent and he couldn't speak Japanese so the one who was Japanese among them was always confused. "Everyone else, you're all perfect."
Everyone nodded and Castiel rested his baseball bat on his shoulder, leaning against Chrizu, the only female member and she cursed at him in Japanese and Chiyo had to stop herself from laughing at the confused look on Castiel's face. Everyone else was also trying not laugh because they all knew some form of Japanese whereas Castiel flunked the lessons.
"What did she say? What did she say!" Castiel was starting to panic which just made everyone brust out laughing. "C'mon guys, you know I don't speak it!"
"I'm sorry, mate," Chirzu brushed Castiel's arm off her shoulder and walked off to where the car was.
"She was saying not to touch her or she'd use you as bait for the dead," Chiyo said to Castiel in English, who insistently went pale.
"Hey - um - I though you didn't speak English." Castiel said and I growled at him. "I mean - er - you and the Boss only ever talk in Japanese or something so I just-"
"It wasn't Japanese it was German," Chiyo frowned, not sure why Chiyo even bothered explaining anything to him.
"S-sorry...." he stratched the back of his head and that's when two members who had gone off looking for a clear path bursted into the first floor, their masks were around their necks and the were huffing.
"Boss!" One of them called, his dark skin gleaming with sweat. "We saw 'er! We saw Bea!"
Everyone turned around and their leader and Chiyo rushed over to the two men, excitment clearly written on their faces as they asked for more information.
