Doctor Whooves - Part 3: Discorded

Party

The Doctor and Derpy were walking through town as the sun began to set, heading towards the library. Pinkie Pie was hosting a party at the library, which also happened to be Twilight's home, and had invited the whole town. Pinkie had said that it was a party to celebrate the defeat of Discord. She had called it a "Stone Statue Party," but she had made a point of saying there would not actually be any stone statues.

"So," the Doctor said to Derpy as they made their way down the streets of Ponyville. "The mental link with Mist breaking, has that really never happened before?"

"I didn't even know it could be broken, even on purpose," Derpy replied.

"Do you think this could have anything to do with that Discord character?" the Doctor asked.

"I don't know," Derpy replied. "I mean he's been defeated, right? So, he can't do anything else."

"I hope you're right. I mean, I'm still new to all of this magic stuff."

The two ponies walked in silence the rest of the way. As they approached the library, they spotted Black Mist and Fluttershy. As the Doctor and Derpy approached them, the other two ponies noticed them and met them halfway. The Doctor could already feel the bass of the music coming from inside the library.

"I'm glad you could make it," Mist said smiling.

"Of course," the Doctor said. "No monsters are attacking, it's going to be a nice night, I think it's going to be great to have something to distract us from the current situation."

"Besides," Derpy added. "Pinkie Pie always throws the best parties."

"She seems to be the only one who throws parties around here," the Doctor muttered, which earned him a laugh from the other three ponies.

"Come on," Mist said, gesturing his head towards the library. "Vinyl's the DJ tonight."

The four ponies walked into the library. As soon as the Doctor entered, he could feel the music throughout his entire body. The library was filled with ponies. It reminded the Doctor of his "Welcome to Ponyville Party," only louder.

The four ponies began making their way around the crowd, staying near the walls. After only a few steps, the Doctor bumped into a pony. "Sorry," he quickly said, turning to look at the pony, and he recognized her.

"Octave!" the Doctor shouted, to be heard over the music.

"Hey Doctor," Octavia replied, then corrected herself. "Sorry, Time Turner."

"Hey Octavia," Mist shouted.

"Hi Mist," Octavia replied. "Fluttershy, Derpy."

"It's been a while," Mist continued.

"Yes it has," Octavia answered, then she turned to the Doctor. "So, what do you make of this whole Discord fiasco?"

"It's definitely strange," the Doctor responded. "I've never heard of a... what is he again?"

"A Draconequus," Octavia replied.

"Yeah that."

Octavia and the others continued talking. Suddenly, the Doctor began to feel dizzy. His vision couldn't focus and he felt sick. His breathing became heavy.

"Turned," he heard Octavia say. "Are you alright?"

"I.. I think," the Doctor stammered. "I think I need... some fresh air."

The Doctor's vision started going black, and he passed out, again.
