"Camz, come let me draw your picture" Lauren grabs Camila's and pulls her to a chair "aw but Lolo you've already drawn a billion pictures of me, let's do karaoke" the girls played as their parent watched concerned. "It's a shame that their friendship will have to be erased when they come of age, especially since we know what they will become" Sinu sighs sadly "they'll be of age soon, and the council won't make any acceptions, when they truly become what their meant to be they'll have their memories about each other erased and everything that shows their friendship gone" Alejandro rubs his wife's back.
The girls were almost 10 and at that age they matured and became their true selves, Miami was split into two parts dark mist and dark mist, in these to parts held the families of dark and light supernatural creatures. Werewolves, Angels, vampires, witches, shape shifters, pixies etc. They also had three schools one for just dark mist, one for light mist, and one for both because most families weren't afraid of the opposites interacting, Lauren came from a family in dark mist and Camila was of the light mist, so it was obvious to what their possible true selves were. The thing is once your an adult being the opposite doesn't matter anymore and you gain free will of what you do and who you do it with, the only thing is never once did a member of dark mist mate with someone of the light. Lauren and Camila both lived on the border between both parts of the city which made them fast friends, sadly their friendship will be broken and who knows if it will be rekindled.
