Lauren's POV
I walk into second period Science still pissed, I look around the room until I spot Lexa at a station in the back "hey Lexa" I sigh as I sit down "wow someone already pissed Ms alpha I see" I shrug "more like really annoyed me, and I'm not alpha yet and probably won't be for awhile, my dad has to die first then I take his place since Chris is half vamp as well as wolf" Lexa roles her eyes "whatever same thing, anyways tell me what happened". After telling her what happened I quickly start doing my science work sheet "wow I can't believe she insulted you, I mean it's not your fault uncomfortable, also she has some guts to considering you beat every kid up if they even send you a glare" I shrug at her comment even though she was right, this girl had some major guts and for some reason I have the urge to see how much. The science teacher was really generous by not giving us any homework but I knew I couldn't expect the same for my other classes.
The lunch bell finally rings and me and Lexa walk over to my locker "so what do you wanna do for lunch?' I shrug "I don't know, I mean I'm not much for cafeterias" I close my locker when I noticed the girl from English, she was with some friends but she was looking at me and seemed to want to come over but I turned away "Lauren, hello" I look at Lexa "huh?' She sighs " I said how bout we head over to your favourite steak place, they also carry my favourite blood meal" I node "ok sounds good".
Roland's Steak and Pub was and has been my favourite restaurant since I was little and was right beside my favourite coffee shop as well. It wasn't that busy today probably because schools in and this was the usual hang out for us werewolves, the funny thing is Roland is a dark warlock. Me and Lexa take a seat at the bar and the next moment Roland was standing in front of us "well if it isn't my favourite girls, what will it be to today" I smile at him "hey Ro, I'll have my usual blood rare steak with a side of fries and a beer" he raises and eyebrow "Ms. Laurenza, you still have school, how bout a spiked coke?' I groan but node as he waves his hand and my food appears, Lexa giggles as I eye the spiked coke instead of beer "how bout you Ms. Lexie?' "I'll have a blood mix smoothie and a piece of cheesecake" when Lexa drinks blood it almost makes her high so she fixes it by eating a lot of sugar. We eat our meals peacefully as we made small talk with Roland and soon it was time to go "Thanks Ro, see you later" "bye girls".
As we walk up to the school I notice Karla sitting under a tree, as annoyed as I was with her I wondered where her friends were "hey is that the girl that pissed you off?' Lexa points to her, I node "really she's a fucken angel, their more stuck up then most light misters" Lexa looks pissed and I couldn't blame her. She suddenly speeds over to Karla before I could stop her, I couldn't tell what was being said but by the look on Karla's face Lexa was letting her have it, crap. Lexa comes back with a smug look and see Karla look straight at me sadly before she just disappears, whoa is that one of the abilities of being an angel? I glare at Lexa "what the hell did you just do" she sighs sheepishly "I'm sorry Lauren but I kinda let her have it, I couldn't help it, her kind gave me a lot of problems when I was younger" I groan "it's ok, well just hope I don't have anymore classes with her".
