Chapter 4: Nothing New

[Peridot p.o.v]

"Ughh my head hurts." I murmur waking up with a huge headache. "The one thing I said. I didn't want to drink so much." I argue with myself but that just made my head hurt more. I clench my hand onto my head, everything is still kinda blurry. Hangover sucks. I look around and notice I'm in a strange room. By the looks of it I'm probably in the attic. The room is full of dust and kinda dark, but the only bright light shown is from the broken window with ripped white curtains on the left wall. My head starts thump with pain. Damn how much did I drink! How did I even get here? The first thing I remember was...driving here, went upstairs with Amethyst and her friends, played drunk games, then I met Lapis. Lapis. I never really knew her name. When we were playing the games I kinda got to know her a bit. I know that Lapis been with Jasper for 5 months, kinda make me jealous to be honest, her favorite color are blue, red, and green, and she's the only child in her family. I also got to know everyone else too. Speaking of which, where is everyone?

I got down stairs looking for Amethyst, surprisingly she's sleeping on the couch. I sigh, "Come on Amethyst, get up. I need to get you back home before you get in trouble." I lift her arm up high and let go to slap her own face. Nothing. I sigh again out of annoyance. I look around to find the others. Pearl is sleeping on the counter, Zircon is sleeping next to Jet, and I have no clue where Obsidian is at. Maybe he went to IHOP and bought himself blueberry waffles. I walk up to Pearl and notice she was wearing one of Amethyst jackets. I couldn't help but feel a bit of pain in my chest but I ignored it. "Pearl wake up." I grab her shoulder and shake her. She opens her eyes and jumps up fast. She stares at me for a minute, "O-oh sorry Peridot. For second I forgot I was here." "Oh umm it's okay. Sorry for scaring you." I can't really approach Pearl. She's smart like me but she's really different compared to me. I went to wake up Zircon and Jet next.

After hours of waking them up and driving all of them home, I can finally relax in my home sweet home. I walk up upstairs to my room and fall on my bed. Giving a sigh and comfort from my bed, Lapis came to my mind. I wonder what's she's doing? Probably with Jasper but then again, when we played those games, she had an uneasy look when she's near Jasper. I wonder...is their relationship not real? Is my relationship with Amethyst the same thing with Lapis and Jasper? Pfft nah I'm thinking into this too much. My head still hurts though. I might have to sleep it off.
