"No way!" Abby exclaimed as Erin brought in a stack of yearbooks. "I can't believe you have all these!"
"Yep! Saved them all! I have kindergarten through senior year!" Erin set down the stack at the table where all the girls were sitting. Erin grabbed the one from Junior year, when she met Abby. She flipped around and finally stopped on a page. "There I am!" Erin said, pointed to a picture of her at 16. Holtzmann stared at the picture.
"If only she went to my high school. Maybe I wouldn't have been so alone." She thought to herself.
"Oh my god! I remember that outfit!" Abby exclaimed, referring to the green and purple plaid shirt Erin was wearing in the picture."Damn! Why did you look so cute in high school?!" Patty asked excitingly.
"Wow. I would have flirted the shit out of you." Holtz said, staring at Erin with admiration. Erin blushed slightly.
"Don't you already do that?" Patty asked. Holtz shrugged her shoulders. Erin flipped to another page.
"There you are Abby!" Erin pointed out. Abby was wearing a grey sweater and her hair was super curly.
"Yeah... Let's move on.." Erin flipped some more and landed on a page titled 'Prom'.
"Ah prom! There I am!" She said pointed at herself. Holtz stared at the picture of young Erin. She was wearing a mermaid style pale blue dress with sparkles, her hair was curled and fell on her shoulders, and she had her makeup all done. Holtz melted inside looking at how amazing she looked. "Too bad my date wasn't cute."
"Ha! At least you had a prom!" Holtz laughed.
"Y-you never went to prom?" Erin asked with her head slightly tilted to one side.
"No. I didn't have any friends, a date, or anything to wear."
Erin in that moment knew that that wasn't right.

"Is everything ready?" Erin frantically asked Patty."Yes! Don't worry!" She said.
"Thank you so much! Oh Holtz is coming!" Patty and Abby quickly left the building.
"Erin! I don't why I have to wear this or why the city decided to hold a fancy ass event at the last second!" Holtz yelled as she walked down the stairs. Holtzmann was finally at the body of the steps. Erin's mouth lightly fell open. Holtzmann's hair was up in the normal do, but she didn't have goggles or glasses on, her usual makeup free face had a bit of mascara and red lipstick on it, and she was wearing a black suit with a red button up, and a black tie. "Hey where are patty and Abby?" She asked.
"Oh, uh they are meeting us there."
"Ah ok cool."
"You look.. Amazing" Erin barely got out.
"You don't look too bad yourself." Holtz said as she winked. Erin was wearing a long red dress with gems around the waist, black high heels, her hair curled, and a face full of makeup. "Should we go?"
"Oh uh yeah. Follow me first!" Erin said as she walked to the stairs. Holtz followed her, curious as to what the brunette wanted to show her. They walked up all the stairs, somehow Erin did it in heels. They got up to the last floor and Erin opened the door and walked out onto the roof, the blonde following close behind her. The roof was decorated with balloons, stars, and a variety of other decor. There was a table with snacks (Pringles of course) and a bowl of punch. Music was playing in the background.
"Welcome to prom Jillian." Erin said as she walked backwards farther on the roof, holding holtz's hand."You did this? For me?" Holtz said, tears forming in her eyes.
"Yes. You said you never had a prom and I wanted to give you one."
Jillian smiled and ran over to Erin and hugged her.
"Thank you."
Before Erin could respond, Holtz grabbed Erin and connected their lips. Erin felt her heart explode. She had liked the blonde for so long and now she was kissing her. They pulled apart, staring at each other in awe."Care to dance?" Erin said, holding out her hand.
"I would love to!" Holtz said as she grabbed the taller woman's hand. Erin led them to the center of the roof where a disco ball was hanging below them. Holtzmann wrapped her arms around Erin's waist and Erin wrapped her arms around Jillian's neck. "Angel of the Morning" By Juice Newton came on.
"My favorite love song..." Holtz trailed off. The two girls swayed back and forth to the music only focused on each other.
"You are one special girl, Erin Gilbert's."
"Same goes for you, Jillian Holtzmann." The blonde smiled and laid her head on Erin's shoulder.
"This is perfect."
"You're perfect." Erin added before lifting Jillian's head and connecting their lips. There they stayed, dancing, kissing, and enjoying each other's company.
