Morgan's POV
We got onto the jet. I sat next to Evelyn as Scarlett talked to Hotch. Evelyn was holding a picture. "Who's that a picture of?" I asked.
"It's Aunt Scarlett and Grandpa," Evelyn smiled. "Is Aunt Scarlett going to take care of me?"
"Yeah," I nodded. "She's great with kids, Evelyn. I know she'll take very good care of you." Evelyn look at me. "How do I know?" She nodded. "Because she's staying with me."
"Hey," Scarlett sat in front of Evelyn. "A lot of things is going to change for us, okay?" Evelyn nodded. "I'll be here every step of the way."
"Since you're living with Derek, does that make him my uncle and your boyfriend?" Evelyn asked.
"He's your Uncle Derek but he's not my boyfriend," Scarlett nodded. "But it's okay. Things can change but questions when we get home."
"Okay," Evelyn nodded. "Am I going to school?"
"You will," I nodded. "I'll make sure of it."
"You're going to help me raise two kids?" Scarlett asked.
"Yeah, and since I am, you might wanna keep your mouth in check in front of the kids," I smirked. "That potty mouth will get you in a bit of trouble."
"Yeah, I'm working on it," Scarlett replied. "Hotch gave us two weeks off to help with the kids."
"That sounds like fun," I replied.
"First, we gotta get their rooms done," Scarlett replied.
"And yours," I nodded.
"No, I'll sleep on the couch for now," Scarlett replied. "We get their rooms done and take them shopping for clothes and the enrolled into school." I looked at Scarlett. "And daycare."
"And a babysitter," I replied. "Let me worry about the rooms and school. You can take them clothes shopping and school supplies shopping. Along with groceries." Scarlett looked at me. "Leave all the heavy duty stuff to me."
"Evelyn, make sure Uncle Derek makes your room the way you like," Scarlett smiled.
"What's your phone number?" Evelyn asked as she got out her phone. "So I can send you a picture of how I want it to be." I gave her my number and she sent me the picture. I looked at it. "A princess room."
"You weren't kidding," I replied. Scarlett looked at the picture. "I see the wheels spinning in your head. What do you have?"
"I want them to have a panic box," Scarlett replied. "When we're not home and something goes wrong, they go to the panic box. It seals it and they have button to press." I nodded. "The whole BAU team is notified immediately."
"One in each room?" I asked.
"One in the house," Scarlett replied. "No matter where they are, they can gain access to it and the unsub won't know." I looked at her. "But we have to be able to gain access from it on the outside and make it sound proof."
"I got it," I smiled. We got home and we spent a week and a half with the kids. I showed the kids their room along with Scarlett, the panic room, and after we sat in the living room. "You better be glad I love the kids."

"He loves you guys," Scarlett smiled. There was a knock on the door. "That must be Aunt JJ with ice cream!"

"Ice cream!" Dustin exclaimed.
I opened the door and JJ handed me the ice cream and Scarlett the files. "We know you have three more days," JJ replied. "Try working on this one from home."
"Thanks Aunt JJ," Evelyn hugged her.
"You're welcome, sweetheart," JJ smiled.
"Keep us posted," I smiled. JJ left and I closed the door. "Wanna work on this now?"
Evelyn and Dustin went to the toys/games room. "Let's wait till we get the kids to bed," Scarlett smiled. "I don't want to scare them with the crime scene photos."
"Why did you want kids?" I asked.
"Where is this coming from?" Scarlett asked.
"I'm just curious," I nodded. "You wanted Dustin from the start."
"That boy didn't know who his parents where, I think it was right for him to be with the person who saved him," Scarlett replied. "There's no one better than someone in the Bureau, right?" I nodded. "And Evelyn's my niece. She doesn't know me but Kelson has told her a lot of things about me. He's told her how I'm a hero and how I was his best friend."
"Sounds like your brother wanted to be more than a brother to you," I sighed.
"We were always there for each other until that one night when things went bad," Scarlett sighed.
"Why Kelson lash out like that?"
"The guy had a thing for me and that set Kelson off."
"Making him the ultimate killer," I nodded, understanding. "But a socket wrench?"
"First thing he can grab," Scarlett looked at me as we sat down on the couch.
"Ow," I quickly stood up and grabbed the fairy wand from between the couch cushions.
"Sorry," Scarlett sent a small child. "I askedif it was okay and you said yes."
"That's how you know I love you," I sat down.
"What?"
"What?"
"You just said something?"
"No, I didn't."
"Yes, you did. I said I asked if it was okay and you said yes. Then, you responded with that's how you know I love you."
"I'm starting to think you and Reid are related."
"Morgan, is that how you feel about me?"
"Yeah," I nodded. "Which, I can probably understand why you hate me now."
"I do not hate you, Morgan," Scarlett smiled. "I actually like you but it was a way for me to cope with rejection if it ever happened." I looked at her like she was crazy. "I know what you're thinking but yeah. I've been rejected a few times in high school."
"Baby girl, just know you won't be rejected by me," I smiled. "Or the BAU. We are family and we accept you just the way you are."
