So this is it, Ashton? Us, sitting in a small starbucks coffee in that small town, called Princeton? This is what he meant by saying ''I want to explore Princeton''?
''Well..'', I tried to begin a conversation. ''What are we gonna do the rest of the day?''
He looked up from his strawberry frappuccino and smirks: ''Whatever we want to do, I guess''
I don't get this. What the fuck is wrong with Ashton? I didn't want to just sit in this lame ass Starbuck's coffee shop, all day.
I let out a deep frustrated sigh and placed my Chai Latte infront of me on the table. My hands held the cup tight as somebody rushed into the coffee shop and I lifted my head.
''I'm sorry, John. I'm a little late today'', the girl that just entered shouted and she walked fast towards the guy that just gave me my Chai Latte minutes ago.
Her bright smile hit me as she caught me staring at her and I forced myself to look into another direction.
''I think sitting in a starbucks all day isn't what you want to do all day, right?'', Ashton giggled a little and moved to stand up but I interrupted him: ''No.. let's stay''
He sat back down into his chair and gave me a confused glance.

''I-I mean.. we don't know where to go yet, right? So let's stay until we know what to do'', I stuttered. Why the fuck did I stutter?

''Okay then.. We could go to -'', he began to talk and I pretended to listen, while actually I stared back again to the beautiful young woman, selling coffees to the business men and students in here.
''I'll buy another one'', I lift my cup and am sure I just stopped Ashton mid-sentence.
''Buy me a cookie'', he just smiled and leaned back.
So I made my way towards the girl. I tugged at my hair and tried to seem uninterested, as she looked at me. Her smile was still bright, but it seemed not real as she asked: ''And what can I get you?''
There was something in her voice that catched me off-guard, so I just stood there infront of her, lips lightly parted and staring.
She raised an eyebrow and she actually looked kind of arrogant for a moment.
''A Chai Latte and a chocolate cookie'', is all I was managed to say.
''Normal?''
''What?'', she confused me so much.
''Which size, the Chai Latte?'', she gave me a light smile and I'm sure she didn't know who it is, she was talking to in that moment.
''Uhm.. large, please''
She smirked and told me to wait a second. I tugged at my hair again, nervously.

''Oh my gosh! It's Ashton Irwin!'', a twelve-year-old shouted behind me and everyone, including me, turned to where her finger pointed at.
Ashton smiled and got up on his feet as the girl demanded him for a photo.
''Your Chai Latte and your chocolate cookie, Sir'', the voice of the girl behind the bar made me jump and I turned back to her as she placed the two items infront of me.
I payed for my coffee and for Ashton's cookie and turned on my heel, walking back to my chair. I felt the girl's curious gaze on me as I sat down, but I pretended that I didn't notice and am used to it. Well actually, I am used to it.
The fan, that just took a picture with Ashton smiled at me and asked me for a pic, too. With a little smile on my face I stood up and placed my hand on her hip, while sticking out my tongue for the photo.

In the corner of my eye I catched her staring at me, the girl behind the bar. I wish I could've read her mind. What was she thinking? Did she recognize me now?
The twelve-year old beside me gave me a hug and smiled proudly at her phone, while walking away and I sat back down.
''It still gets me everytime that we're known now everywhere!'', Ashton laughed at me.
I nodded with a light smile and reached for my coffee on the table. My eyes traveled back to the bar and it catched me off-guard that the young woman was still looking into my direction.
As soon as my eyes met her blue ones, she looked away and turned back to the line of business men that was waiting for her to notice them. Her natural full lips were forming a 'sorry' to the man infront of her but he just grumbled, while paying for his coffee-to-go.
I shook my head in anger about this man.
''What?'', Ashton must have noticed it.
''Uhm.. Nothin'..'', I stuttered. But I could see it in his eyes that he didn't believe me and that he turned around, watching the 'bar-girl', proved it.
''She's cute, isn't she?'', he speaked as he turned back to me.
''Nah.. Nice body'', I hope I sounded more uninterested than I actually was.
''You know what?''
''Hm?'', I pretended to drink something again.
''I'll ask for her number!'', Ashton stood up and ran his fingers through his hair. I tried not spit my drink back into the cup as he grinned at me and I realized that he meant it.
''What?'', my coffee cup was placed back on the table and I felt lightly uncomfortable now with Ashton staring at me.
''I'll ask for her number. Like I said, I think she's cute'', he walked away before I could protest. Why did I even want to protest? I didn't even know her and, well, I could have every other girl in this room if I wanted to. So I just leaned back in my seat and thought to myself: 'Go, Ashton. Go and ask for the number of the bar girl if you need to'
The really beautiful and hot bar girl, actually.
Her lips gave Ashton that light smile again and that was, what made me stand to my feet and walk towards them just then.
''Hey Ashton'', I pat at his shoulder. ''Let's leave now. We can also just randomly walk around to explore Princeton''

My eyes never left her but she didn't give a damn about me and just smiled all time through at Ashton. Why did it annoy me that much?
I let out a deep sigh and walked towards the door.

The moment my hand reached for the door knob, Ashton shouted: ''No Luke! Wait a second!'' I turned back around and everyone in the room kept staring at me but, as said before, I am used to it. So I just rolled my eyes and walked back to Ashton and the bar girl.
''She said she could show us around in Princeton! Great, isn't it?''
''Great'', I mumbled and leaned myself against the wall beside the bar, forceing myself not to stare at her again and watched Ashton talking to her. All I could get from their conversation was that we had to wait until she had finished work.
''I can leave earlier today. I know the boss of this shop pretty well'', she winked at the young man which I recognized was John, I guess.
Well, she's taken ,Ashton. Too bad I smiled to myself as she continues: ''But you'll have to wait at least two hours, though''
She looked at Ashton with an asking expression and ignored me still. Ashton just smiled and showed his flirty mood by saying ''You can teach me how to do frappuccinos meanwhile, hm?''

The bar girl just smiled and shook her head no: ''Maybe another time, pal''
After telling us to sit back down for the next two hours, she headed back to work and Ashton and I sat back down at 'our' table.

Two hours, a chocolate cookie and a strawberry frappuccino later the girl finally took off her apron and walked towards me and Ashton with a big gorgeous smile on her face. Well from her point of view, I'd say she walked towards Ashton because she still ignored me, whatever the reason.
''Ready?''
Ashton quickly got up and smiled back at her, while I slowly stood up, rolling my eyes for the hundredth time this day.
''I hope he stops being so stupidly annoying for the rest of the day'', she said to Ashton as they walked out of the door.
What?
I kept my mouth shut as I walked behind them. When I was just deciding on what was now actually worse -sitting alone in the hotel room and watching stupid american daily soaps or being here with flirty Ashton-, the bar girl turned to me: ''So you're Luke, right?''
''Yup'', I put my hands in my pockets not looking at her.
''Could you do me a favor and stop being so cruel please?'', her voice was too soft for her harsh words and I looked her in the eye which made her hold in for a second. She sighed and continues: ''Well... I am Rebekka anyways and if you don't want to go with Ashton and I, then you can wait here and we'll pick you up later. But if you want to stay then please just stop making this face! It is a beautiful, sunny day.. so what is this face for, hm?''
I raised an eyebrow partly for provocation and partly out of confusion and she rolled her eyes, which made me laugh. Rebekka smiled at me: ''Way better''
