Having it back
"hey RAndhir how are u?"parth ask while comming and sat beside Rd who is having his tea.
"Fine . U?"Rd ask forward ing him his cup
"Better. But I'm afraid the rest team will attack again " he said with a serious tone
"Not yet. They are a little afraid of Indian Army now. As they know our strength. They wait for few days. Till then we will cover up the whole area"Rd replied
"Yes I know. I hope team 2 will do it successfully"parth responded
"Don't worry they will"Rd replied. Suddenly they saw an solder collect some wood in a place and fire that up. Its almost evening. They both looked at the burning fire for few minutes.
"It's beautiful is not it?" Parth said all of sudden looking at the fire. Rd who is too lost on it turn to him
"Vidusi used to love sit with me in front of the burning wood when we are in Clg" parth said with a smile
"Who is she? U'r gf?"Rd ask
Parth smile sadly shake his head"she used to my gf once but now she is some one else's wife"
"That means she is not in love with u"Rd concluded and drink the rest tea from it
"It's not like that Rd. She loves me very much. But u know being an Army I can't risk her life with me. I have risk in every sec,how could I just put her life in it too. She propose me for marriage but I denied for her own good"he said sadly
"Why are u sad then?"Rd ask
"Becz something I missed her so much that I can't even explain. She still send me letters till last summer. Notify me that her engagement is fixed with a professor. And she said she was happy" he said more sadly
" Then?"Rd ask with a keen eagerness
"But u know she hate professor so much!"parth smile remembering how he cursed every professor in Clg .
"But I know maybe or may not be she was not happy." He said holding his cup tightly.
"What do u mean? Just a sec ago u said she wrote she was happy now u are telling that she was not. And u receive the last letter last summer. 8mnths ago. How do u know she was not happy?"some confused lines came in front of Rd forehead.
Parth smile and looked at him"becz she filled all the letter with tears while writing that. If u are happy then why are u crying then?" He said taking out the letter from his pocket which he kept with all care.
Rd looked at the letter parth holding .
In the time some one called parth and he excused himsefl from there. Rd looked at the fire again where the soldier burn all the unused papers from all the dustbin from  the camps. Letters
Why it's so imp to a soldier? Maybe becz its the only attachment with the outer world . Thinking of something he enter in his word and ly on his bed. He too receive few letters from a unknown person. But he successfully throw it away from him. It bother him much. Why? He turn a side and saw the solder put the dustbin again in its place . Empty. That mean he just throw the stuffs on the fire . Without thinking anything else Rd run from his bed to the fire place. And saw it's burning heavily,abd burn every peice of paper over it. He came running to it. Hold a stick which is ly beside and search for something. Finally found it at the center above few burning apges. It already started burning. He immediately grab that from they burning fire and rub that on his shirt. His hand burn due to that but he didnot feel the pain as his concentration goes to the latter only which burn half ly from down word. It already burn the name of the sender left only the 1st letter of her name 's'. Rd touch that place and hug the letter immediately. He himself didnot know why he did so but he did.  His eyes filled with a little tears. Not for the burning pain in his palm but becz of the loosing letter for ever. Maybe becz this is the only thing now he have in this world apart from himself...
