As the bus pulled into Miami, Troye and I got excited. All day we'd been getting messages from our friends, who were eagerly awaiting our arrival. They'd promised to be waiting outside the hotel for us.

Emma and the other tour staff were relaxing in the bunks as we came round a final corner and into view of the hotel. Troye and I were standing at the windows, watching for our friends. We spotted them standing in a clump by the front entrance. They were talking among themselves until Tyler spotted our bus and pointed it out. Then they all began jumping and waving excitedly. Troye and I waved back even though we knew they couldn't see us.

The bus had barely stopped moving before we sprinted to the front and pulled open the door, running into the arms of our waiting friends.

"Troye!"

"Connor!"

"It's so good to see you."

"You look amazing."

"We missed you."

"Tell us everything."

Everyone was talking over each other and laughing as they enclosed Troye and I in a group hug. We laughed too, happy to finally see our friends in real life instead of on a tiny screen.

"We missed you guys too." Troye said.

"Troye, can we...can we see the bus?" Zoe asked hesitantly. I caught Troye's eye and he shrugged.

"I have to check with Emma but it should be fine." He wriggled his way out of the group and went over to Emma who had emerged from the bus with the other tour staff. After a moment, he turned back to us with a grin. "Come on."

As if we were one person, the group moved towards Troye who stood on the bottom step of the bus. He reached towards me and I took his hand as he pulled me through our friends to stand beside him.

"Thanks." I whispered to him, hiding my face in his neck.

"You're welcome." He whispered back before turning to our friends and raising his voice a little. He knew I had been getting anxious being surrounded by all our friends like that. "We have to make this tour quick. But welcome to our home for the past month."

Troye and I leaped up the stairs, used to their steepness but the others came more slowly, carefully climbing the stairs, looking around when they got to the top.

"So this is, I guess, the living area." I said, gesturing to the sofas on either side of the bus, a coffee table of sorts in the centre.

"And behind here, are the bunks." Troye announced, pointing to the curtain that hid the twelve bunks. Everyone wanted to try them out and began to crawl inside.

"Wow. These are actually pretty comfortable." Joe observed, poking his head out from the bottom bunk he was in. Troye crouched down to be more at his level.

"Not when you've been sleeping in them for several hours."

"But you stayed in hotels overnight, didn't you?" Tyler asked.

"Yeah, when we were in a city where we had a show. Sometimes we spent the night in these, travelling from one city to another. Like in Australia. When we went from Adelaide to Perth, we spent nearly two days on the road." I explained.

"Wow." Caspar voiced the general consensus of the group.

"How did you two manage to fit in one of these together?" Alfie asked as Zoe tried to squeeze in beside him. Troye raised an eyebrow at me and I shrugged.

"You don't want to know." He said finally. "Plus, neither of us are as big as you, Alfie."

"Hey!" Alfie cried but everyone else just laughed.
