A/N: Long time no see. Well it's been a crazy few years will school ending and now I have finished college. To be completely honest I was going to give up with Wattpad as I assumed no one would want to read my stories after so long of me being inactive. But tonight I got a few ideas for this story so I want to finish it. It may take me awhile but I'm determined to finish it. As for The Hidden Past that may have to stay on hold indefinitely unless I can figure a way to write the story.

I may eventually upload new stories, not particularly fanfics but maybe some new stories or I'll end up just doing short stories. Or this may be a phase and I could potentially give it all up but we'll see how it goes for now. If anyone is still reading my stuff I would be so grateful if you could let me know.

The weeks before Christmas break dragged on, I spent my days rehearsing and eating lunch in the bathroom stalls. No one would talk to me, I was completely alone. It is the last dance lesson before Christmas break and we have been going through the show over and over again. Mrs Adams really wanted it to be perfect, although Jay hated me right now he got on with our dance for the sake of the show.

Maybe 2 weeks away from here is exactly what I need.

Despite my attitude to Emma, I know that she didn't kiss Alex my wrist would have burnt if she had. I wish I didn't have to reject her but it is for the best. Christmas break is right round the corner and that means 2 whole weeks away from Emma. Soulmates aren't meant to stay apart, this could cause Em a lot of pain which is the last thing I want to put her through.

The bell rang for the end of the lesson. This was my only chance. We all filed out of the studios onto the quad.

'Emma!' I called seeing her just ahead of me. She didn't turn round and kept walking.

'Em, wait I need to talk to you.' I said catching up with her and grabbing her arm.

She looked up at me annoyance written across her face. 'Well that's funny considering you've been ignoring me for weeks.' She stated her cute nose scrunching up.

'You need to come with me for Christmas break.' I state simply.

'Why should I come with you? You hate me.' She muttered, turning to pull away.

'Em.' I sighed. 'I could never hate you.' I turned her back towards me.

'We have to stay together otherwise we'll be in pain Em.' I inform her.

'So what! You didn't care last time you caused me pain.' She was getting angry now, I could see the pain in her eyes as she remembered what happened in the cafeteria.

I lifted my hand and caressed her cheek. Emma tensed before relaxing into my touch.

'I'm sorry okay. I should have never kissed that girl, I'm not going to cause you that pain again that's why you have to come with me for Christmas break.' I kissed her forehead.

'Fine, but I'm doing this for my benefit not yours. I'll meet you by the gate.' Emma spun round and headed to her dorm.

Stupid soulmate touch it gets to me everytime. I've now signed up for 2 weeks with my soulmate who doesn't want me, this is going to be just great.

I keep to my word and meet him at the gates with my bags for the holidays. Jay leads me down the road where a bus is waiting to take students home. We climb on sitting next to each other without saying a word.

The bus journey feels like hours as it makes its multiple stops in various towns and cities. I must have fallen asleep as the next thing I know Jay is shaking me away telling me that we're the next stop.

We step down on to the snowy path that is lit with street lamps. The air is cold and nips at my face. I swing my rucksack on and haul my duffel bag on to my shoulder. Jay walks ahead of me leading me through the town, it's quite dark so I can't make out all the features only the ones illuminated by the street lamps.

A few roads away from the bus stop, we arrive at a decent sized house. It's a white two story typical suburban style house.

'This is us.' Jay says holding is arm out towards the house. I noticed there were no lights on.

'Is anyone home?' I asked him curiously.

'No it's just us, my parents spent their Christmas in Europe.' He replies casually.

'Oh.' I breath.

Looks like Jay and I will be spending these two weeks alone.
